NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

There were some really big blocks in the overtimes. We fed off that. Boyle got cut, I got cut, guys are diving in front of shots. That’s how you win games in the playoffs.
We just kept doing it and doing it through overtime and just took advantage of a chip behind the net and Richie just made a great pass to Gabby and that’s all she wrote.
- Dan Girardi

There’s a lot of emotion. It’s positive, you work so hard the whole game. In the locker room before we went out, we kind of got a second wind in the room, you could feel it among the guys.
They hit a post there and I thought to myself, that doesn’t go in we’re going to get one here. We kept saying that to ourselves, that’s what was driving us, we work hard all year and, in the end, it comes down to battles and effort.
- Ryan McDonagh

I have conversations with a lot of players during the playoffs, that’s a part of my job.
Gabby was one of them but it was not just about scoring goals. I do it with all the players.
- John Tortorella

LETS GO RANGERS! Kill those CRAPS!

BIG GAME BOYS! Take it home 3-1!

Grind Jam Grind 05-04-2012 09:01 PM

Please win. In regulation. Hopefully, the OT winner gives Gabby a boatload of confidence and leads to a hot streak. Anyone remember how Richie went crazy after his OT winner against Tampa? This is the playoffs! Gabby is due for a hot streak.

LGR!

LGR!

Beat the cap out of the craps! :sarcasm:

dmjt4160 05-04-2012 09:17 PM

I keep thinking one of these games we have to get a relatively easy win right?

Lets just do that tomorrow. 3-0 with goals from Kreider, McDonagh, and Gaborik sounds pretty good to me.

bmw2004 05-04-2012 09:19 PM

Richards with another HUGE game. LGR!!!

Any win on the road will do, especially bring up 2-1 in the series.

I would love to come home with a 3-1 lead, with a chance to eliminate them at home.

If it is another triple OT wron, I will be just as happy.

Net Front Presence 05-04-2012 09:42 PM

What a huge win this would be!!

ThisYearsModel 05-04-2012 09:45 PM

LGR! Get it done and get back home.

Easy solution, just tell him you're not his real father and then after the game tell him you were kidding!
