Free raffi and free rusty

Let's do this for them

XX 05-06-2012 11:04 PM

End this so we don't have to deal with Nashville or their fans anymore. Time to move on.

Hoping for a nice, controlled blowout 4 or 5 - 0

rt 05-06-2012 11:13 PM

Please win, Yotes. End this, get healthy and rest up.

SniperHF 05-06-2012 11:15 PM

Speaking of getting healthy, at least with this game off it will give Rusty a chance for his face to regain normal shape

For the most part their fans have been pretty good, I think. There's one notable exception that springs to mind, but certainly much better than what we dealt with in the Chicago series.

BeSeeingYouSeattle 05-06-2012 11:24 PM

Please end this. That's all.

Chicago has won a cup recently and has some of the most talented players in the world on their team. Nashville is a slightly more talented version of the 'Yotes. You don't act like you are the class of the NHL when you have never made it past the second round, it's absurd.

However, you are right. For the most part their fans are decent people and not at all difficult to chat with. But the few are so much louder than the many sometimes.

gra 05-06-2012 11:35 PM

We can win game 5 without Rusty but it will be tough as I expect the Preds to throw everything at us including the kitchen sink.

Oh and don't forget the Emma Stone. I can't put her in the GDT since the last 2 times she was in the Game Day Templete, we lost.

doaner 05-06-2012 11:43 PM

Gotta win this one. Gonna try to win tickets off abc15. Wish me luck!

Good luck and how is that contest going to work?

I actually had the opposite experience so far, but I didn't join this board until after we had eliminated the Blackhawks.

Not sure. Tune in at 10. Probably be caller x or something.

Yep, an elimination game without Rusty is going to be extremely difficult.

It's going to take a monster game from Smith, Schlemko, and the rest of the defensive corps.

doaner 05-07-2012 12:34 AM

Didn't win. :( I'm sure lots of folks were calling. Going to taverna in flag with the wife. Hope they have the game on.

Looks like you went from being the token kiwi to just a member of the kiwi contingent.

Sorry, mate.

Yes, let's call Emma a very healthy scratch for Game 5 :amazed:

AZviaNJ 05-07-2012 01:08 AM

I'm VERY worried about this game and related distractions. Losing our best player not named Smith while the Preds return 2 very rested and likely motivated Russians, while the ownership news swirls will make this our toughest game of the playoffs.

Obviously, we'll need a monster game from Smith, but the Prime Line really needs to carry us in the one....at least 2 goals.

I'm thinking Stone > Schlemko given he's a better stay-at-home d-man.......but what a spot for a rookie to step into. A much smarter hockey mind than mind will make the right decision I'm sure.

Go YOTES!! Weather the storm in the 1st, create the storm in the 2nd and 3rd!!

Well hey, he lists his location as "Earthquake City" which I can only assume is Christchurch.

Me, I'm from Auckland. A lot of people say in New Zealand that Aucklanders aren't real Kiwis.

Up to you guys at this point. :P

I LOVE that restaurant! By the way, apparently they want me to go to Flagstaff when I'm done with manager training.

DouX 05-07-2012 01:42 AM

Huge game with a chance to close them out and rest our players. Sucks to lose Rusty but Shanahan is dropping the hammer on us hard this post season. Have to fight on and end this series tomorrow. Lets do this Coyotes!

Which one? I go to the one off Milton all the time

Kimahri 05-07-2012 02:09 AM

I'm confident we close this thing out tomorrow night. And I might be in the minority here, but I'd like to see Summers in for Klesla. I like Schlemko, and Stone for that matter, but I really like the physicality Summers brings to the lineup. Schlemko has really looked a step or two behind the playoff pace in the games he has played. I'm sure all three will be a little rusty with getting no, or very little, playing time in the playoffs so far so I guess it doesn't really matter which one is inserted into the lineup. One thing I can say for certain is I love having all three of them available if needed.

Wish you all well, I'll be in attendance for this game. Driving down from Vegas for the game. Never been to jobing.com arena so should be something new and exciting. Please don't kill me, I'll be in section 112!
