Who the hell am I even supposed to root for anymore? I don't give a damn about any of the remaining teams (assuming Nashville and Philly get eliminated).

Cheer for the Kings, this years Slayer of Nucks.

Very hard to go wrong with the Slayer of Nucks.

The Rangers have four MN natives (Sauer, Stepan, McDonagh and Bickel) so I am rooting for them, plus Gabby is still my favorite player on the planet and Captain Callahan is a Yank.

I also wouldn't mind finally seeing the Kings take their name off the never-won-a-Cup list. Quick is just such a bad-ss.

I want to agree with you.. But I don't think I will EVER be able to cheer for a New York City or Los Angeles sports team.

The Kings, Quick is awesome and Penner's twitter is hilarious.

The Kings are different. They've never won it all. Plus if LA does win a cup and hockey gets big there, it would be a VERY good thing for the NHL and Hockey in general. Can't be mad at that.

Plus one of the two SportsCenter studios is in LA.

I want to see Phoenix win it all if Nashville bows out. Just to see the HF community rage and Canada subsequently not getting another team. Ya, I'm in that sort of mood today. Bleep everyone else.

Outside of that, maybe the Devils. Always had a soft spot for them and would like to see Parise and Zajac get a Cup.

Go Kings! Go Caps! Go Flyers!

Yotes, Preds, Rangers, Devils...burn in h-e-double hockey sticks!

Fel 96 05-07-2012 07:03 PM

1-0 Rangers.

Fel 96 05-07-2012 07:16 PM

Shots are 17-4 for NYR after 1.

Yikes.

ESPN wont give a **** if LA wins it all except for a few hours of front page coverage on their web page.

Hell, LA sweeps its way into the conference finals for the first time since The Great One was playing for them, and it trails behind the results of the Devils-Flyers game that night and both trail behind some stupid opening round basketball game.

ESPN does not give a good god damn about hockey at all.

Why don't you tell us how you really feel...

Northland Wild Man 05-07-2012 09:37 PM

Yuck! I would hate a NYR vs LAK final.

If I did, I'd get a lifetime ban. ;)
