Ryan McDonagh is just AMAZING

He gets better and better every game. IMHO, best D man on the Rangers. Unreal how great this kid is.

I Hate Chris Butler 05-12-2012 09:23 PM

He's no Scott Gomez.

Kershaw 05-12-2012 09:24 PM

Girardi was better tonight IMO.

The New Originals 05-12-2012 09:24 PM

He's full of bullets and daggers.

coolstorybro 05-12-2012 09:24 PM

been saying it all season. kid is a beast

WasTeD 05-12-2012 09:26 PM

How he played against the Sens made me a fan for sure. You hear he's good but until you really watch him you don't know how good.

Bird Law 05-12-2012 09:26 PM

But Gomez is Gomez

Girardi had his best game of the series tonight, however McD is so consistent it's ridiculous!

Cam98 05-12-2012 09:27 PM

mdz was better

Whoot Whoot 05-12-2012 09:27 PM

Girardi is my #1 but I think we have someone special in #27. ( and 18 and 4)

KingWantsCup 05-12-2012 09:27 PM

"The Rangers don't have a Chara-Seidenberg caliber pairing they won't be able to win."

McDonagh and Girardi say L o L.

i is smart. yay gomez

Red Dread 05-12-2012 09:28 PM

After some admitted bitterness, I must admit the Rangers played very well throughout this series and very well defensively.

From a Caps fan's perspective, I am very curious to what the Capitals do in the offseason and how Holtby does next year, as it seems pretty obvious he will not be wearing his Hershey Bears uniform again.

Hanke 05-12-2012 09:30 PM

Nice gomez costs us Gabork AND McD! thanks Gomez :)

Judrix 05-12-2012 09:31 PM

this would probably have been more suited towards just a post on the RAngers board instead of a thread on the main board.

Playoff Beard 05-12-2012 09:32 PM

this hurts.

William H Bonney 05-12-2012 09:32 PM

He's the most underrated American player in the game. He's not mentioned enough when posters talk about potential 2014 Olympic rosters, where he'd be a lock at this point. The development in his game the last 2 years has just been phenomenal and he still has room to grow. Excited to watch him develop.

bouds 05-12-2012 09:33 PM

Staal's rounding into form, had a really good game tonight.

Agreed 100% ... the scary part is he has so much more potential and he's already a stud.

le_sean 05-12-2012 09:42 PM

I really feel Staal is the one getting better and better each game. Finally coming into form.

Was going to mention Staal as well, he has played great for us.

Thanks Bob.

Theon 05-12-2012 09:44 PM

I thought Staal was better tonight but no questioning McD's game though. He is unreal.

His ability to just take elite offensive players and make them irrelevant is amazing. He's what Revis is to the Jets.
