Will NY Break the Boston/Carolina Record?
 

The most number of games to win the stanley cup is 25, shared by last year's cup champions, and the '06 Hurricanes. Since there is a thread on LA beating the Oilers record, will the Rangers beat the record for most games to win cup?

Boston was the only team to win 3 game 7s and win the Cup. I'm not sure if a team has won 3 game 7s and not won the Cup though.

Flames played 26 in 2003-04, that'd be tough to beat.

If they Rangers win it, they'll probably need to beat the record. A pair of six game series would push them over the record. I don't see them finishing off any of the remaining teams in 5.

True enough, I'm just speaking from a matchups stand point. NY did not match up well against Sens and Caps and I'm surprised they ended up pulling it off. Not really the case with LA/PHX
