Heard on TSN 990 the other night that Tinordi is a top four and Beaulieu is a potential top two in the NHL, think of this as a future on defense:

Gorges - Subban
Tinordi - Beaulieu
Ellis - Emelin

Now if we draft Murray, Dumba or Trouba in June I am convinced that we will have the best defense in the NHL in less than five seasons.

But I think we are okay on defense and need offense!!!

I really hope the Habs can either through free agency or trade acquire a top 9 guy so Leblanc can spend the year in the AHL as well.

A good prospect for sure, would'nt be surprised to see him in Montreal next season. I

also remember Don Cherry raving about Tinordi and his shot blocking and plus minus.

He also said how much the Hunters liked Tinordi as a player and being former NHLers I

definitely respect their opinion. Tinordi will be our Craig Ludwig and Beaulieu will be

our new Eric Desjardins. Now all we need is a clone of Lyle Odelin and we will be in

business.:yo:

I have a feeling I am going to follow the Dogs as much or more than the Habs next season. Pretty cool since this season was difficult to watch at both levels.

I'm expecting a weak-to-mediocre start to the season, but by mid season I can really see them taking off once most of the young guys are adapted. Still need a goalie badly, though.

Nah, we need a clone of Bobby Smith, Brian Skrudland and Claude Lemieux.

If Markov goes down next year with an injury, it might be very possible we see Nathan make his debut

And McPhee, Naslund and Nilan, too...;)

Considering all the drama taking place in Montreal, can you really blame him for getting his degree for free before coming here? ;)

I think they should sign him now, at 22 he should be in the AHL.

You always need to be careful with these predictions... 3-4 years ago we were super hyped about fischer (more or less), McDo, Emelin, Valentenko, O'Byrne, etc.

For all we know, Ellis could be the next Bouillon, Beaulieu the next MAB, Subban could never fulfill his potential (I'm personally very doubtful about that, but he is a very risky player in his choice of plays), Tinordi could be the next O'Byrne...

Couple years ago we were all seeing a future top 6 including Higgins as captain, Plekanec, Maxwell, Perehogin... People were getting all excited with Jason Ward burnt the AHL one year... Duncan Milroy...

Wait and see before you can predict NHL lineups with prospects that are so far away.

Nice signing it was just a question of time. This guy has a big potential. Will be good for him to get to work on his defensive side of the game in the AHL before graduating to the Habs lineup.
