HF Org. Rankings (Nashville #9)

Can't really argue our place. I would argue we should be higher than the Islanders, but that is about it.

Didn't we rank like 3 or 4 last year? I guess with no #1 last year, that's fair.

Cant argue where we are. All 4 central teams that made the playoffs are top 10

On a related note, CBus finished last in the league and has the worst prospect pool :amazed:

Well movement is to be expected. It's hard to get a beat on things because these change alot. The two main reasons for this are unpredictable development and graduation.

The Rangers are a good example. Not too long ago they were 2nd on that last. Now Kreider, Hagelin, Del Zotto, McDonagh, Sauer, and Stepan are all established members of the big team....suddenly, what prospects?

Columbus is another good example. Voracek is traded, Filatov is in nowhere land, Johnasson is slower than expected, and they go from 5th to 11th.

I don't put too much stock in these things because they're only a barometer on what might happen and they can only project, at best, a year ahead.

Whatever the number may be in any given year, I think the Preds have a nice looking system with lots of potential.
