Iginla has never topped Yzerman or Malkin in their best season.

My list.

Lindros (simply a tank that could not be stopped)
Ovechkin (Like a tank, and 65 Goals translates to 4th best scoring seasons in adjusted stats. Ever)
Yzerman (Using his 155 point season. Just can't ignore the fact that it is third highest offensive total by player ever. Only the Big 2 has ever surpassed that.)
Bure/Malkin (I think bure has a tiny bit edge at the moment but i do believe that Malkin will have a better season next year.)
Thornton (125 points, but it was a little "off the charts" year, also i hate Thronton. )

Iginla. (Tied with hart votes but Theodore won with more 1st place votes. Was one of the weakest Hart winners ever and that thing would have not changed even if Iginla would have gotten one more vote.)

ESH 06-01-2012 11:03 PM

1. Steve Yzerman
2. Eric Lindros
3. Alexander Ovechkin
4. Evgeni Malkin
5. Joe Thornton
6. Jarome Iginla
7. Pavel Bure

The Iginla vote is a bit homer-ish, but quite honestly, I don't think Bure was any more dominant than Iginla was. Bure just waited up at the blueline for a pass to use his speed to get breakaways.

People are just in love with Bure's highlights. I would definitely take Iginla over him. Bure scored 58 and 59 goals in 1999 and 2000 while playing half the game and rarely venturing into his own zone.

1 - Steve Yzerman
2 - Eric Lindros

3 - Alexander Ovechkin
4 - Evgeni Malkin

And Lindros was by far the most physical player on that list, AINEC.

I'll take Lindros over any player on this list for 1 prime season. Because Lindros in his prime was not only dominant points wise, he was one of the meanest mother****ers in the game.
