That looks like a lot of fun. I don't think they've got an Illinois division, though.

We were going to compete but couldn't find a goalie, and I'm pretty sure it was last weekend in Toronto.

Signed up for the U19 division in Halifax. Played in it for the first time last year and it was awesome. My buddies team walked all over the U19 division last year. They won the final game by like 6 or 7 goals. Hoping to keep the division title in Cole Harbour. :yo:

Believe the closest location would be in Vancouver, not paying ferry fees to play something I can play out my front door.

The first year they held one in St. John's my friends and I put a team together and went. It was an awesome time, definitely worth the 800km cross island trek. The Western Star up in Corner Brook even covered us since we were the only team from the west coast to participate.

We've played 09, 2010 and 2011, just registered for 2012 last night! First two years in U-19 and last year in Adult Contenders (intermediate), sadly we haven't made it past the first round of the playoffs yet, having lost in round 1 on three consecutive tries. Last year we lost 6-5 in a shootout... heartbreaker.

Little blogging I did about our team for a PlayOn! contest -

U-19 in Montreal was insane... Ciampini and Cortese were on a team together, bunch of JrA guys... Next year my teams got it.

I've played all divisions and usually been the leading scorer on my team while playing defense the entire time

The first 2 years was fun. However, getting beat to the max (10-0) in a short amount of time becomes very frustrating. I'm the only person on my team with any competitive hockey played.

I changed this year and got to play with a guy who played AA as a goalie. He's colour blind, though. He didn't tell us until mid way through the first game where we were using a pink ball and he had to look at the player's stick to guess where he was going to shoot. Still did damn good, too.

We finished the highest a team I was on ever did (27th/45 teams) and made it to the 2nd round for the first before loosing to a competitive ball hockey team. Real far.

The main thing that sucks about this is people lie to play in a lower tier so they can dominate and feel good about themselves. If I had more players like myself, (preferably better) I'd go in a league above Muckers.

When players have matching jerseys, they bring gloves and then say "Hey, don't use that ball, that's our league ball", it's quite obvious they're better than muckers...

I had fun, though. Trying to establish myself in front of the net I elbowed 2 people in the face. I apologized, but I don't give a ****.
