Meh, losing fans just because of a coaching change? It's not like we nominated John MacLean. We picked a guy with so-so results to replace a guy with terrible results.

As long as the GM doesn't try to accommodate the coach too much like Gainey did with Martin and starts trading away a bunch of players that don't fit "the system".

what is interesting is that most of the comments from Pittsburgh fans on the general forum seem to indicate they liked him and that Therrien was the guy that set them up for the cup run the next year by whipping the slackers into shape.
