Devils live to fight another day ...

Game #5 in Jersey on Saturday on NBC @ 5 pm

kingsboy11 06-06-2012 10:54 PM

god damn it. WTF!!!!!

Telos 06-06-2012 10:54 PM

Onto the next game... One win.

DAkings20 06-06-2012 10:54 PM

Wasn't feeling a Kings win all day, ****ing sucks.

Kings just gave the Devils hope, guess we'll see how they react to adversity.

I know it's one loss but the Kings fan in me makes it feel like its tied 3-3:cry:

Nose of Sutter 06-06-2012 10:54 PM

This one is on Voynov.

mbar 06-06-2012 10:54 PM

We could have won with the game we played. We didn't. We'll get over it and we have a great shot to win Saturday.

That was a pretty entertaining game. Devils worked and they get to play again!

The Devils have figure out the Kings breakout where they touch pass it off the boards toward the center moving out.

DocWest 06-06-2012 10:55 PM

Too much dump and chase from the Kings. They also missed way too many chances on breakaways. Devils were the much better team tonight.

Live in the Now 06-06-2012 10:55 PM

Pissed off. Closing this out is going to be tough. Gotta be better than this.

TheSlovenian 06-06-2012 10:55 PM

Too many missed opportunites. FFS how many missed breakaways ?

Cruel11 06-06-2012 10:57 PM

Kopi looked really off. The team didn't look into it.

jml87 06-06-2012 10:57 PM

Damn these guys making me drop 300 dollars on a ticket.

Sydor25 06-06-2012 10:57 PM

Overall the kings were better. They just missed some prime chances. Same thing NJ did the first three games. Still need 1 out of 3.

cneil99 06-06-2012 10:58 PM

I'm not the least bit happy, last thing they should do is give the devils life, wanted them to win it at home, now they have to win it on the road

Stupid Sexy Flanders 06-06-2012 10:58 PM

Essentially the same as games 1 & 2. A bounce here, a bounce there. Could have gone either way.

All of the younger players were nervous. Penner, Carter and gagne were the best players tonight, but they all missed on outnumbered attacks.

Shootmaster_44 06-06-2012 10:59 PM

As much as I wanted the Kings to win, I sort of expected this. This game reminded me of Game 4 of the Phoenix series. I fully expect that Saturday will be just like Game 5 of that series. Part of me really wants to go to Newark on Saturday, but my wallet says over $1000 we're not sure.

There are single tickets still available for Game 5 on Ticketmaster (or there was late in the third).

GKJ 06-06-2012 10:59 PM

I don't get how Penner is able to get behind the defense and then no one is around when he misses.

Best kings game by far. More puck possession than the devils. Really tight coverage in front of Quick. Just unexplainable how they lost. Very similar to game 2, but roles were reversed.

And Brown (Henrique was his man) and Lewis. All three were horrible. And the post.

bobafettish* 06-06-2012 11:03 PM

efforst was there just couldnt bury.

AKAY47 06-06-2012 11:04 PM

This is stupid, we deserved that game and everyone knew a sweep was too good to be true

Captain Ron 06-06-2012 11:04 PM

Damn! I wanted them to win the Cup at home. But, I still am confident the Kings will win on Saturday. :yo:

Effort was there, but nobody could put it on goal to save their lives
