It has been roughly 8 years since I have last skated. The local hockey team left and so we hadn't had ice at all until 5 years ago but 6 years ago I broke my ankle. I am really beginning to feel confident that it might be strong enough to skate (plus my little brother is going to be starting hockey and I want to be able to skate with him). Does anybody have any suggestions of what I should do to make sure that it is protected and to help keep it from going out on me while I am getting my ice legs back? Thanks for any help in advance.
