Toronto picks were made by MoreMogilny, Hurt and Leafs Rocket. We think we made some solid choices.

Oh also we would like to thank Chainshot and all the other participants for making it an enjoyable experience. Cheers lads and lasses.

Anaheim Ducks picks made by yours truly, a Habs fan.

Hope you're all cool with Murray and Nieves.

Carlzner 06-10-2012 12:46 PM

Wilson at 14? Interesting.

Chainshot 06-10-2012 12:54 PM

If it had gone three, I was hoping Koekkoek was off everyone's radar completely. I almost took him at 43, but went forward instead...

Koekkoek went 20th. :P

Not a big fan of the Sabres passing on Ceci, dont mind Janakowski but not sure he is worth a mid 1st. Not a fan of passing on dansk for Zharkov or Winther either. I really hope this doesnt happen IRL for the Sabres but it definetly not the worst case scenario. I could live with picks 12 and 21

Joey Moss 06-10-2012 01:53 PM

Dislike the Laughton pick. Bystrom or Samuelsson I would've preferred.

That's cuz the Flames pick was made by an Oilers fan...:sarcasm:

Seriously, though, that's all true, I am an Oilers fan and I did choose for the Flames, but I went with the player I feel has the highest upside at that part and exactly what the Flames could use: a big, mean power forward with goal-scoring ability. And for those reasons and my aforementioned status as an Oilers fan, I hope it doesn't happen!

Blackhawkswincup 06-10-2012 03:20 PM

I am happy with what I did with Hawks

Both quality picks ,, Good value and both fit longterm needs of organization

Free Torts 06-10-2012 04:06 PM

Canucks picks were made by me. I stand by taking Thrower. :p

Ashasx 06-10-2012 05:11 PM

Why in the world are the Flames picking Wilson with Ceci and Maatta still on the board?

Awful list. We have enough 0.55 PPG prospects. If Wilson is truly desired, Feaster would find a way to pick up a 2nd round pick, be it trading down.

Pitt's Best #87 #66 06-10-2012 05:34 PM

Don't mind the mock as a Pens fan but each round I think there were at least three players I would have rather had.

1st round - Lindholm, Hertl, Kerdiles
2nd round - Hart, Sieloff

It's funny though because my ideal guys all went with in three picks of the Pens picks.

bruinsfan1970 06-10-2012 06:56 PM

I am happy with my pick for the Stanley Cup Champions Boston Bruins :D

Maatta was my back-up if Wilson wasn't available, but I think Wilson will fit in quite nicely on Baertschi's wing, if he keep up his playoff pace (which was 1.00 PPG over 13 games).

Samuelsson would've made more sense at 36 but Nieves is pretty good.

Certainly if we're looking at a forward for Baertschi's line, we'd rather have the 1.0 point per game Gaunce who plays the more valuable position, no?

I don't even see Wilson going in the first round. I don't know what people are seeing. The Flames are moving away from these Sutter-esque picks.

FlareKnight 06-10-2012 08:51 PM

Looks good to me. Think the Leafs should take Grigorenko in that situation and also no complaints about Byström.

Might have considered Vasilevski to boost the goalies, but asking the Leafs to take two Russians with their first couple of picks might be a bit much .

Fire the Islanders GM who passes up Murray for Dumba

Hampe 06-10-2012 09:13 PM

More than happy with the Ducks picks.

Agreed, Jankowski isn't worth a 1st Rounder

Greeningfan14 06-10-2012 09:17 PM

Awesome pick for Ottawa.
