there are several bike racks that you can buy that will lift the bike off the floor but if it's just one bike just lean it up against the wall in your dining area.

Do you have a balcony or anything? I saw a lot of people hanging them up at my last apartment

Buy a rubber-coated J hook that screws directly into your ceiling or wall. You can find them at any store like Wal-Mart or Canadian Tire for super cheap.

Make sure you find a secure place to drill into and screw it in to and then just hang your bike from the rim.

I love ripping single-track, but have been neglecting my bike lately. I should totally get back into it - great exercise!

Yep most people just get the hooks and hang it on the wall.

Got my bike a month ago but haven't been able to ride nearly as much as I hoped. Going for a long ride tonight!

Watch Seinfeld. Jerry's Klein mountain bike is hanging in his closet.

Great minds lol ... I suppose some of the members here are too young to remember the show??

You know they used different bikes over the years? Klein, Cannondale, and back to Klein. There were a few episodes where the front fork was mounted backwards too.

Back to the topic, Jonathan Krisel of Portlandia fame, directed this Nada Surf video.

Check out the messenger dude's setup for bike storage in his little Brooklyn apartment.

Apartment living?

J-hooks if you can manage it with the landlord's permission, if not, find a way to lean it so it doesn't take up so much space.

I have a balcony where I keep my bike, but most of my friends hang their bikes on the wall. I'm not sure exactly what brand the hooks are, but I know they're sold in bike shops so it shouldn't be too hard to find out.

If you have room for hockey equipment, you gotta have a corner to stash a bike. :)
