So excited ! :yo:

Habs shopping Subban! Any interest on TB's part? I know his rep is bad (diver, cheapshotter) but I wouldn't hate it. Way to pricey though.

Felonious Python 06-22-2012 04:27 PM

NHL Network

"Rick Nash reportedly asked for a trade in February."

How did they miss Scott Howson saying that the team initiated trading him?

I'd say no because the only reason I think of the Habs wanting to shop him is he's locker room cancer. Not a lot of players like his attitude and he's fought with a few of his teammates at practice. Other than that why would you want to trade a young defender like Subban who is so good?

Wow. I say go for it.

Lecavalier ? :naughty:

EJ Hradek is smart.

I thought of that locker room cancer thing also. But a couple of pushy shovies with his teammates doesn't really do it for me. I think there is a lot of overplaying of that because of the market he's in. When the entire city lives, breathes and dies with the Habs, everything is amplified to the max.

It really could be as simple as he needs to be in a lower pressure city. And tbh our leadership group here is pretty good. I mean, how could you really not respect a guy like Marty St. Louis if he steps up and tells you to knock off the ****.

Probably won't matter though, he's gonna bring back a lot of assets if he is traded, more than SFY will want to give up.

Felonious Python 06-22-2012 04:46 PM

Craig Button made an excellent point about teams picking (I'll paraphrase) 'the best guy for them' in a team identity sense, and not necessarily the just the 'best player available', which is something I've thought has been missing in the draft discussion for years.

Then they go right back to talking about addressing need.

And where's all this doubt over Nail Yakupov come from?

Ooh, Tim Thomas has waived his no-trade clause.

Absolutely I'd go for him, but he'd be too expensive

Something big could be going on, not necessarily for TB but I've got the feeling...

TheDaysOf 04 06-22-2012 06:00 PM

Alright here we go :propeller

Sharks and Nucks apparently working on a deal... (so says mainboards)

PoundCake 06-22-2012 06:07 PM

This is where I leave work, by the time I get home I wan't Ryan Murray, Shea Weber, and Henrik Lundqvist all in Bolts uniforms.

You have 30 minutes Yzerman.

Felonious Python 06-22-2012 06:13 PM

Tambo, get your ass up there.

A staging issue is what's causing the delay?

The fix is in.

If they didn't get up there in 15 more seconds, SFY had the right to jump up there and start making picks.
