Edit: Fraser resigned, too. $825,000 x 2 years.

Mother of God...

Carter, Richards, Kopitar, Stoll...all locked up for a good while

Jwm1986 06-22-2012 07:37 PM

Great move by the Kings....Stoll took 1 million less to stay with Kings....no doubt he could have gotten 4 million on the open market

Oh Snap 06-22-2012 07:38 PM

Stoll Re-signs with LA

http://lakingsinsider.com/2012/06/22...act-for-stoll/

"The Kings have reached agreement on a contract extension with Jarret Stoll, at three years and a total of $9.275 million, per Daren Millard of SportsNet. Stoll had been due to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. The Kings have also been working on a contract extension with center Colin Fraser.

Stoll’s new salary-cap hit would just under $3.1 million. It was $3.6 million for the past four seasons."

Took a pay cut to stay with LA. Nice deal.

Gliff 06-22-2012 07:39 PM

Still too much IMO...

Gentle Ben Kenobi 06-22-2012 07:39 PM

The cup is ours!

Kelly23 06-22-2012 07:39 PM

Same money as Kelly so who is a better 3c.

Rivet52 06-22-2012 07:41 PM

Great re-signing. Definite hometown discount taken by Stoll. Great price.

PaulSedin 06-22-2012 07:41 PM

Good signing for LA.

I dunno, I could have seen somebody overpaying him by a bit to be their #2 C. That would have been a mistake obviously.

SnS 06-22-2012 07:43 PM

Good deal. Wanted Stoll here, even though we have enough centers.

People would pay 4 Mil for a guy who didn't even hit 25 points last year? Granted it may have been an off year for him, but I would rather pay Boyle 1.8 to produce the same amount of points.

Kloparren 06-22-2012 07:45 PM

A bad regular season doesn't matter if you have a decent playoff plus your team wins the cup

GKJ 06-22-2012 07:47 PM

RT @lakingsinsider: Kings have signed Stoll to three-year extension. Fraser got a two-year, $1.65 million (total) deal.

We'll do this in one thread

CNS 06-22-2012 07:47 PM

[LAK] Colin Fraser, 2 yrs, $1.65M total

Rich Hammond ‏@lakingsinsider

Kings have signed Stoll to three-year extension. Fraser got a two-year, $1.65 million (total) deal.

Feel free to merge if not worthy of own thread. Basically the entire team will be back next year it seems. Penner will be next.

If you think Jarrett Stoll's value is in points you're looking in the wrong direction.

Both awesome news, glad to have both in the fold. Home town discount for sure.

Oh Snap 06-22-2012 07:49 PM

Happy we're keeping Fraser for another 2 years as well. Played very solid for us in the playoffs on the 4th line.

Good job Dean-O! :handclap:

ScoreZeGoals 06-22-2012 07:53 PM

Title should probably be updated to say 825K x 2 years for Fraser

GOB Bluth 06-22-2012 07:53 PM

I wonder if they make a run at Parise or just re-sign Penner

Novacane 06-22-2012 07:54 PM

Darn, I wanted Stoll for Staal, Staal, Stoll down the middle. Great deal though.
