Looking at Steve Simmons Twitter page I saw these two Tweets from him and wonder what you think of them?

Bryan Mccabe was very good for the Leafs. It was the idiotic media like Simmons that sunk his value.

Simmons speaking like an idiot, aka nothing new.

I need confirmation that is Steve Simmons twitter acct. Just kidding.

Bryan McCabe made Team Canada playing with us. Its not like he was terrible. He just fell off as he got older

If Finn turns out to be as good as McCabe, it will be one of the steals of the draft.

My thoughts are that I don't care what Mr. Simmons has to say about anything.

This is part of the reason why players don't like playing in Toronto.

Wasn't it "we're not SHOPPING Luke Schenn" which is completely different. In fact, I'm sure Burke said on several occasions that he can assure Luke that he wouldn't be traded but that he wasn't trying to.

Seems like Simmons being Simmons.

What an idiot. Matt Finn would be lucky to ever have a career McCabe did which is a pretty good career.

Why does anyone employ Simmons? He is a complete ass. He is the worst leaf 'fan' in the world, and there are plenty of bad ones on HF so that is saying something.

Burke said he never offered Schenn at the deadline. Doesn't mean it wasn't discussed.

In 2004, Mccabe got over 50 points, and +23 and was 4th in Norris voting. What a ridiculous tweet by Simmons.

Mccabe was criminally underrated in Toronto.

I feel that I should mention as well that McCabe was the big prospect that was used to get both Sedins at the draft. He had a lot of promise early on in his career and did pretty well too. Just, as someone said, started to fall off.

How does this bum still have a job? He's one of the main reasons the Toronto Media is 'too hard on the players and management'

Simmons is a nerd with nothing better to do
