Between Tinordi and Collberg for me. I'm going with Tinordi because he's come off a strong season and has shown more poise with the puck than a lot of us were expecting. Won't be an offensive force in the NHL, but you can't teach size.

Add Bennett

overlords 06-26-2012 12:20 PM

If you're going purely off potential, it's gotta be Collberg.

Tinordi and LeBlanc have more upside than Collberg.

Lelbanc is most complete player, also he can compte with anyone appart from Gally when it comes to skills.

WeThreeKings 06-26-2012 12:23 PM

I'm voting Tinordi again.

My vote is to add Mac Bennett.

IHaveNoCreativity 06-26-2012 12:24 PM

Habs 4 Life 06-26-2012 12:26 PM

It depends what you are looking for really. I'm still not convinced about Leblanc's offensive upside but he's the third most complete prospect behind Galchenyuk and Beaulieu.

But I think Collberg has more offensive upside to the extent that he's more exceptional than a jack of all trades type. Leblanc is underrated by a lot of fans though.

I think Collberg is a better skater and has better hands than Leblanc personally. LL might have the best vision of any prospect besides Galchenyuk though.

Leblanc - what is his upside? Top 6 forward? 20 goal guy?

I ask because he looked really good from what I saw of him but most fans aren't that optimistic?

Captain Smurf 06-26-2012 12:29 PM

Tinordi, add Mac

Bullsmith 06-26-2012 12:29 PM

This one's going to be a runaway for Tinordi.

Add Bennett.

No, they don't.

I guess he's naturally a center, personally I see his upside as the Plekanec of wingers with more grit and less goals (though perhaps more assists)

Unless they have him focus more on defense, he's still a very nice prospect if he ends up the Carbo type.

hogtownhabsfan* 06-26-2012 12:35 PM

I voted Tinordi last time, so him again. Collberg will be next. And then Leblanc.

Wow, our top 5 is pretty spectacular. And then Gallagher, Ellis and Thrower. Top 8 is WOW

Jigger77 06-26-2012 12:37 PM

Going with Gallagher. But I haven't seen most of these guys play nearly as much so I guess that's a bit biased.

For some reason I see a young Fleury/St-Louis or even Gionta in him.

It's clear that he skates better than Leblanc, he can make plays at high speed also, but Leblanc had two goals this season that need great hands to do so. Two of his goals were pure skills in front of the net. He's not flashy, much like P. Bergeron, but when he needs to use them his hands are great.

I think he is as skilled as Collberg plus bigger frame and better defensively.

Leblan's upside is more or less that of a two-way 2nd liner. Collberg has first line winger upside. He likely had the best wrister of the draft and his skating is great.

Player 61 06-26-2012 12:59 PM

Tinordi, add Vail.

Leblanc and Tinordi, also never performed the way Collberg did at 17 in the WJC or did they dominate the way he did against boys his age. If Collberg was playing in the CHL, he would have Yakupov-like numbers.

The only question mark is the transition to pro hockey... but based purely on skills Collberg has way bigger upside than both Tinordi and Leblanc... actually, I put him second and I would dare to say that his offensive skills are as good as Galchenyuk.

KadrüH 06-26-2012 01:07 PM

Tinordi, add Bennett.

HabsSlappy 06-26-2012 01:08 PM

Leblanc again.
He has already showed me he is a third liner and is likely to become at least a second line player. I see very little downside to his potential at this point so I have him ranked higher than most others because the others have more risk in my opinion.

Although I think that at this time next year we may have Collberg as #2.

Please add Brady Vail.
