chultz can't formally sign contract until Sunday July 1 but I'd be surprised if he hasn't picked his new team before then.
Have at it!

Kershaw 06-27-2012 03:10 PM

lol I thought he signed with the Blues. I had a mini heart attack.

DuckJet 06-27-2012 03:12 PM

I read it and thought he ruled out the Blues. Didn't think they had a shot to begin with.

Vankiller Whale 06-27-2012 03:14 PM

Honestly, who is your source?

Or are you just guessing, like everyone else?

Don't get your panties in a bundle. Vancouver is there also.

You can be rest assured my panties, in fact, are rather straight and comfortable.

Ps. Out of context that is going to look rather odd to people.

Swap Ottawa with the Rangers.

I see him going to Edmonton out of that group, Toronto 2nd, then I don't know... pretty even after that.

Only way he ends up in Detroit is if Smith chats his ear off and really sells him Detroit. Maybe tell him Canada not more than a hop, skip and jump away and that Mike Illitch will buy him a house there? :naughty:

I didn't even THINK about the St. Louis Blues. Sorry St. Louis fans! Was just looking for a movie title to continue my earlier theme with Bobby Ryan.

Tim Murray was on team1200 a few days ago and said they have talked to the Schultz camp and feel they are on the short list.

Rangers have the best chance out of that group to win the cup...Dealbreaker will be Sather offering One way contract and ensuring he plays. The team has a good grasp on things with young players and most are working out. Maybe he chooses the system over the location. i.e. Canada.

Dont be surprised

canuckfaithful 06-27-2012 03:27 PM

Looking good

As time passes I'm slowly hearing little clues and hints that I think lead to him coming to Vancouver. If he and his family are die hard Nuck fans, how could you wear any other colors.

Vipers31 06-27-2012 03:27 PM

I wonder what four teams have not expressed interest in him. Well, maybe just three teams, if we were not to count Anaheim. We know we won't get him, but I think one would formally have to consider us in the "having expressed interest" column...

Do you really think you'll get a credit for 9,806 in vCash? No good interest rates on those these days, I hear. ;)

Dont be surprised

All ELC's are two way. He will get the max from every team offering. It will be where he wants to go pretty much. Same money, same tenure. The other factors will decide it for him.

Dont be surprised

Can't offer 1-way contracts to rookies. Only ELC.

Ok the ELC parameter I understand now...I guess it will come down to system or location

Rangers young players are given the opportunity, if he believes he belongs. I mean that shows alot about his character about competing with a bunch of guys.

I personally think he wont go to Edmonton or Detroit. It will be down to Vancouver or New York
