Here is our rugged, 6"+, stay at home defenseman?

Welcome back Cube.

le_sean 07-01-2012 02:12 PM

Oh for **** sakes.

Chris G 07-01-2012 02:12 PM

horrible

Dekar 07-01-2012 02:12 PM

What.

HabsPassion 07-01-2012 02:12 PM

Depth signing, low risk / high reward, similar to armstrong signing

overlords 07-01-2012 02:12 PM

lolwut? Too expensive for 7th D.

What.

x2

Is our garbage bin full of has-beens yet or are we shopping for more junk?

Impossible Glory 07-01-2012 02:13 PM

I guess he's a good depth guy...

Could it mean that one of our D is on his way out? Kaberle?

Crimson Skorpion 07-01-2012 02:13 PM

As a 7th defenseman on a cheap one year contract, I like this.

Jack Bourdain 07-01-2012 02:13 PM

Come on Bergevin, what the hell. This isn't 2005 anymore.

Habs514 07-01-2012 02:13 PM

Why?

Fel 96 07-01-2012 02:13 PM

Not sure about that..

Good for him though.

Et le But 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

I'm a Bouillon fan and all but if that's our only move on the defensive end, we will be seeing Seth Jones soon enough.

PyrettaBlaze* 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

I'm not hating on this deal at all but I hope Bergevin has something bigger planned... Not sure how Armstrong & Bouillon make us a better team.

I agree

(just showing some support)

BLASPHEMOUS 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

Don't see what the big deal is. He's a depth signing who does a fine job on a bottom pairing. For less than a mill per year, why not?

Habs13 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

Bah... where's flippin' Dandenault?

the 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

What the **** is wrong with this team always signing bottom feeders.

Gabe84 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

I don't mind this. I loved Bouillon in his first stint with the Canadiens. Now let's get Dandenault! (I'm just kidding!)

Bullsmith 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

Another small depth signing.

Pun intended, yes.

Xss 07-01-2012 02:14 PM

There has to be one or even two of Kaberle/Diaz/Weber who are going away...

le_sean 07-01-2012 02:15 PM

I take it Weber is on the block.

Captain Saku 07-01-2012 02:15 PM

You have to be seriously kidding me!!! FFS!

Teufelsdreck 07-01-2012 02:15 PM

Bergevin had been making smart moves up until now. Oh well, at least he didn't sgn Latenesse.
