Ok. Asham one I was a fan of. This one, I just flat out don't get.

pld459666 07-01-2012 02:29 PM

Islanders games just got interesting

I Am Classless 07-01-2012 02:29 PM

The missing piece!

KingWantsCup 07-01-2012 02:29 PM

This guy is a pure goon. Wtf Sather? Literally just signed Asham and resigned Bickel...

Killem Dafoe 07-01-2012 02:29 PM

This seems about right so far for a regular July 1st..

Kreider Typical 07-01-2012 02:30 PM

lolwtf... whale guy i guess...

MrAlmost 07-01-2012 02:30 PM

Sometimes I hate this team.

NYR957 07-01-2012 02:30 PM

He'll be an AHL player. People get worked up for no reason.

Inferno 07-01-2012 02:30 PM

not really familiar with him to be totally honest.

eco's bones 07-01-2012 02:31 PM

I like this. If the Rangers can get Haley's game a bit higher--he is a tough kid. Definitely not someone who is fun to play against.

Loffen 07-01-2012 02:31 PM

LOL. The ****?

poeman 07-01-2012 02:31 PM

what the **** is Sather doing? lol

BlueshirtBlitz 07-01-2012 02:31 PM

Is it a two-way deal?

ahhhhh it better be. He's a C? Spare option?

Bird Law 07-01-2012 02:33 PM

Yes. This signing I like. 13th forward.

pld459666 07-01-2012 02:34 PM

precursor to a multi-player deal?

bringing in guys like Asham and Haley, resigning Bickel?

these guys rae 4th line depth players.

where is Dubi/hagelin playing if we get a top line LW?

I think we are going to see a trade shortly.

That's the question. If a two way, we can disregard this until Sept.

1Knee1T 07-01-2012 02:36 PM

Remember guys that a two-way deal doesn't mean a player is safe from waivers.

I Am Chariot 07-01-2012 02:36 PM

Keeps Asham looking over his shoulder in case he suddenly forgets how to fight.

Inferno 07-01-2012 02:37 PM

another dirty and mean 4th liner, sob?

Sign me up. Love these kinds of players for fillers on the bottom lines...what i dont like is payng these kinds of guys big money. anythign less than a mil per and im a-ok.

Vitto79 07-01-2012 02:38 PM

if its a 2 way you can put Newbury's new 2 yr - 2 way on this title as well cause its a CT signing

being a 2 yr makes me think its 2 way

Haley actually has the potential to be a Prust-like player under Torts.

eco's bones 07-01-2012 02:41 PM

Haley could be the next Prust. It takes time to develop players like that. Prust didn't just show up and start getting regular ice time. It took him a while to establish himself.

As a fighter Haley is more of a middleweight but he's embarrassed a lot of bigger guys with reputations. He's almost unbeatable with players his own size. He's also more of a **** disturber than Prust. Haley agitates more. His AHL numbers are not bad.
