I kinda don't want Salvador back. We're gonna start jettisoning our abundance of D-prospects if they don't feel like they have a chance to play here. Losing Tao is fine, but I don't want Urbom
or Gelinas to start demanding trades when there's no room for them.

Zach signs with us, followed by Marty, followed by Salvador.

Salvador is the perfect example of a guy where it's better to walk away sooner than later.

Don't want Sal to come back unless we move Tallinder.

If the Devils sign Salvador, they almost have to trade someone.

All 7 of Zidlicky, Salvador, Greene, Fayne, Larsson, Talinder, and Volchenkov are easily top 6 defensemen heading into next year. And they already signed Harrold as the #7

I'd like to keep Sal and trade Tallinder.

I think the only way Salvador is back is if Zach leaves, and they wind up having to trade a defenseman for a forward. I firmly believe that's Lou's Plan B, otherwise it makes absolutely no sense for Sal to be waiting on the porch for the Devils to turn the light on since they have seven defensemen in the fold already.

I think you're either getting Zach-Marty-Moose out of tomorrow, or Marty-Moose-Salvador and one of the d-men gets traded.
