So I guess that's their big tough 4th liner?

5 Minute Major 07-01-2012 09:21 PM

How inspiring.

Rochester, here you come.

TehDoak 07-01-2012 09:21 PM

He's an enforcer.

Jame 07-01-2012 09:21 PM

break out the brad brown scale!

jfb392 07-01-2012 09:21 PM

This guy sucks at hockey.

sba 07-01-2012 09:21 PM

Also plays D, probably could be a 6/7 if needed. Maybe a pre-cursor to a move involving a D man?

HockeyH3aven 07-01-2012 09:22 PM

Lock it up.

They've gotta me moving some defense-men at this point, the blue line is really, really crowded.

Myllz 07-01-2012 09:22 PM

Dude's a monster, that's all I can tell.

See Rochesterians (Kevin O, etc.), this is what happens when Darcy signs an AHL'er on the first day of free agency.

From Sabres.com

John Scott
BUFFALO, N.Y. (July 1, 2012) --- Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that the team has agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent forward John Scott on a one-year contract.

"John's size and toughness make him a difficult player to battle against," Regier said. "His physical play will be a valuable addition to our team."

He hasn't played in the AHL in like 3 years. Doubtful this one is for Rochester.

CaptPantalones 07-01-2012 09:25 PM

Big guy to protect Miller

sabrefan27 07-01-2012 09:25 PM

The Sabres put a claim in for Staubitz last season. It's obvious they want to add toughness.

Well unless they are shipping out a D-man, tough to see where he fits.

Maybe they are cutting Weber loose.
