Tall Man Sticks
Where can I buy extra tall sticks? I'm 6'5 and every stick I get is too small and I have to put extensions in them. Extensions are a pain in the ass. They always find a way to budge their way loose. It ruins the stick and well... any sites or anything that sell bigger than normal sticks? I'm talking Chara sticks here. Thanks for helping a hockey brother out.

I'm the same height as you, you could argue I use a short stick. But I just buy it and keep it the way it is.
Stick comes up too that middle of my collarbone. Learned to use it!

Are you using senior end plugs with a tape shim and hot glue? I say senior, because often it's not indicated on the end plug, I've bought the odd intermediate plug by mistake.

If you are using senior plugs with a tape shim and hot glue, I'm surprised they come loose, I often use end plugs because I just like the feel/balance (cut my stick extra short, then add the wood extension), and mine never come loose if installed properly.

Regardless, some companies do make longer sticks, around 63" from the heel to the butt end (as opposed to 60" for standard senior sticks). Warrior make some sticks like this, and I think Sherwood do too. You should be able to find them at any good hockey shop, and they'll quickly stand out because they're simply longer than the other sticks.

I'm 6'4 and I just learned to use a shorter stick. Usually about 3 or so inches away from my chin on skates.

How tall do you want the stick to be?

Make sure you get a senior end plug and follow the instructions listed. I've used end plugs before and I've never had an issue with them staying in properly.
