Babchuck and Stajan
What do you guys think we could get for this deadly duo;):sarcasm:?? haha, but seriously what do you think?? Maybe a 3rd,C+ Prospect, and a cap dump..
Fire away :) |
Stajan for a 4th and Babchuk for a 4th.
Together? Two 4ths and a 5th. :sarcasm: |
Anything really. They are vestigial pieces on this club right now.
|
Negative 2014 and 2015 second round picks.
|
I hope we keep Stajan for his faceoff numbers, Babchuck is useless with Wideman, Jbo, Gio all ahead of him for the pp.
|
I know Feaster wants his 5th back.
So, getting that is a priority; these contracts are pretty (really) bad... so, I don't know how many teams would give Calgary anything for them, might end up being Waiver claims. |
A bag of donuts for our management:laugh:
On a serious note a couple of late round picks if that. |
Babs should yield a pick, hopefully a third rounder. Stajan is not worth trading. His value isn't high enough to help the team but his skill set may, especially with our depth on wing. Considering that all legit top 6 centremen passed us by, we simply can't afford to give Stajan up for a bag of pucks
|
Babchuck - 5th
Stajan - Might actually resurrect his career under Hartley. He is our best face-off C, and has proven he can put up points in the past. Despite that, I could see him leaving town. Maybe a 4th from a team who needs to hit the cap floor? |
Yea I don't see Stajan going anywhere unless it's for a cheaper Center to a team struggling to reach the floor. He's our backup plan for whn Feaster realizes tht Cervanka and Hudler are not Centers despite what their trading Card says.
|
Stajan as a Flame:
Post Trade: Lets resign this guy! 1st line center! 1st full season: Pretty bad year, get rid of this guy. 2nd full season: TRADE HIM, BURY HIM, ANYTHING JUST GET RID OF HIM! Prior to last season as a Flame: I think he will be good now, lets keep him. :laugh:But in all seriousness Babchuk must go. Stajan might as well get one last shot. |
Right now, due to our roster and an unsigned Backlund, we can't trade Stajan.
|
With Wideman on the team I see absolutely no room for Babchuk. Someone with a deep defense and the ability to shelter his ES minutes might take him for the chance to have his shot.
Stajan I would like to see get a shot on the top line. He can atleast win faceoffs and prevent Iginla and Tanguay from being forced to defend off of every draw. |

Hopefully both are traded before the season starts.
|
I don't see either one here at the start of the season...and I think we will see them go soon enough.

tavares alone it would take Bartschi + jankowski + brodie + kiprusoff + 1st +Iginla + Cammalleri + + + + + + + + + + +... the islandes are in love with tavares... i doubt they'd even trade him for malkin or crosby... no way we get either of them... ryan i could see |

An All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet, personalized for yours truly, Jay Feaster.
On a serious note, I think Babchuck could gain a 3rd if a team really wanted him, but I would be fine getting a 4th or 5th back. As for Stajan, I would rather keep him, because no one else wants him. |

Babchuk on the other hand... |
