I added Bouma and Aliu.

Left to add: Breen, Lamb, Bancks, Wahl, Gillies, Kulak, Culkin, Gordon, Deblouw.

DBU 07-03-2012 12:09 PM

Ben Street. :sarcasm:

I'd say Laurent Brossoit.

YMCMBYOLO 07-03-2012 12:10 PM

I went with Greg Nemisz.

InfinityIggy 07-03-2012 12:19 PM

Nemisz is getting pretty underrated IMO.

I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised with Patrick Seiloff. I believe we have finally landed a gem in the 2nd round.

He won't put up the big numbers, but will play a strong defensive game, and destroy people with thunderous hits... A future fan fav in the system.

Not really, he has been pretty stagnant in his development the last 2 years, to me he seems nothing more then a 3rd/4th liner.

I think he has all of the tools to be a solid checkline forward.

Thats just me though I guess.

I think Granlund has decent 2nd line upside, although I'd like to see what he can do when he's not playing with his brother first (which should be next season).

I'd probably slot in Nemisz right behind him.

I have to disagree with this.

Nemisz went from a PPG of 0.49 two years ago to a PPG of 0.57 last year (decent progression). His skating has improved by leaps and bounds and with the way he dedicates himself off the ice, I expect it'll be even better next year. Two years ago, he looked really out of place in the NHL. Last year, playing with Baertschi and Kostopolous, he acquitted himself very nicely on the third line. He read the play well in his own zone and mad some nice passes; good hands for a bigger man.

It's too early to write him off, but he has to take a big step this year. He either has to be dominant in the AHL (lots of bodies on the NHL roster may keep him down) or force himself on to the main team, which will be tough with the guys ahead of him (why did we sign Comeau again?).

Went with Byron, he's one of the few guys left who I've actually seen play hockey and so far he's impressed me more than Nemisz. Granlund's next and after him I'm going to have to vote by pure hype factor I'm afraid.

edit: forgot Bouma, he's going before Granlund

Flamefan1 07-03-2012 05:38 PM

Went with Nemo.

nogger 07-03-2012 07:16 PM

Bill Arnold

Xelstyle 07-03-2012 07:24 PM

Nemisz just because I think he's closer to the NHL than anybody and staying there. Whether he might become a top 6, different matter.

J Murda 07-03-2012 07:27 PM

I think Ferland has the ability to emerge. He's got a serious mean streak and has the ability to put some points on the board.

Sean Monahan 07-03-2012 07:29 PM

Went with Nemo

Byron a close 2nd though

TheHudlinator 07-03-2012 07:58 PM

Nemo he could still be a better version of Moss.

Johnny Hoxville 07-04-2012 10:39 AM

Went with Ferland here.
