I kind of wanted the back to back, but to be honest I'm pretty happy to be rid of it.

Woodhouse 07-03-2012 07:45 PM

Well, I don't really need another thread to own.

The show "Louie" is so dark and awkward. But entertaining. Yes, entertaining.

One of the best shows out there easily. He has total control over it too, they give him his budget money and he gives them the fully completed episode. He directs, writes, stars, and edits.

It's an awesome show for sure. The pacing and ambiance are always spot on.

Finally got to see Moonrise Kingdom yesterday. We're only half-way through the year, but I don't think that one will be topped. Fantastic on every level, and one of the most subtly impactful endings I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. I'm not even a Wes Anderson fan, but man...that was something else.

Afino 07-04-2012 01:14 PM

Check towards the end of the last OT thread. A short discussion was had.

dire wolf 07-04-2012 09:15 PM

My first reaction to this thread title was "what does Hecht-Briere-Dumont have to do with America?" Duh.

EDIT: and my first reaction to the post above me was thinking ECF stood for Eastern Conference Finals. I've got hockey on the brain.
