Wow Detroits got three, been a while since I could say that. Still bothers me that Ericcson cant be on this list. Has a good fight against Clowe, and beats up some guys like Ott and Dorsett but just doesnt show it consistently enough.

He could easily be Detroits best fighter if he embraced that part of his game more. With a **** disturber like Tootoo now, Ericcson might be forced to however.

Looks like there might be 5 or 6 teams softer than Detroit this year actually

Hugh Jessiman won't make the NHL.

I think the OP was joking. At least I hope so. I also doubt Horton gets in another fight in his career.

I'm interested to see if Scott is willing to throw down in Buffalo. The guy just seems to hate scrapping, even though he's a monster.

Sestito will play a few games for the Flyers. More if Shelly gets waived due to potential cap issues. Vandermeer is a UFA. Burke already confirmed Orr will see some games next season with Carlyle as coach, he still has a NHL deal in place. Big Mac will see 10 games or so with the Pens. Slater will drop them sometimes for the Peg. Wiese is still not under contract with the Nucks.

Other that good list.

billsoilers 07-05-2012 06:30 PM

Good list, and you can add Dane Byers for the Oilers

Fel 96 07-07-2012 12:56 PM

Jake Dowell?

He will play in Houston.

Dirk316 07-07-2012 09:06 PM

Lots of soft teams TB is a joke like always, Detroit like usual and Montreal making improvements

BudMovin* 07-07-2012 09:37 PM

Can probably take Horton off from the Bruins. His fighting days are probably over.

Does Clutterbuck not fight anymore?

bp spec 07-07-2012 10:40 PM

I noticed that some teams really need to add some toughness to their rosters when I saw this.

Why would he fight?

Blade Runner 07-08-2012 03:46 AM

Dallas & TB = epic fail :shakehead

Paris in Flames 07-08-2012 09:59 AM

A Brian Burke led team is probably the softest in their division.

BobbyShehan 07-08-2012 12:09 PM

Bruins vs Sabres games should be fun to watch.

tsujimoto74 07-08-2012 01:03 PM

Add for Buffalo:
Marcus Foligno
Brayden McNabb
Mike Weber

McNabb doesn't strike me as a guy who would do it with enough consistency to be considered. Also, is he even going to be on the Sabres ? Seems like he'll be back in the A/first call up at this point.

Then again, he could very well have a great camp/pre-season.

danyhabsfan 07-08-2012 02:46 PM

Maybe you could add Subban

7 fights in two seasons + couple fights in practice.

No, you're fine. The other guy though...

Toronto is pretty weak right now but we have some guys in the system who should hopefully make an impact in the next couple years.

Any teams have any fighters ready to make the jump?

True, but if Parros is involved then it should be interesting...

candyman82 07-08-2012 04:59 PM

You forgot Cody Bass for Columbus

McNabb strikes me as a guy that will answer the bell if and when he needs to, which could be fairly often given that a lot of players want to fight anytime they see a teammate get decked with a big, clean hit. But yeah, he could start in the AHL. I'm not sure how well Sulzer will do over the course of 82 games, and there will be injuries at some point, so I'd guess McNabb gets 20+ games in the NHL this year.
