Good signing for the Amerks.

sabrefan27 07-06-2012 01:03 PM

A lot of Amerks fans disliked him. But, he wasn't the goal scorer then as he is today. I like the signing. 30 goal scorer and he will help the pitiful powerplay from last season.

BackGroundMusic 07-06-2012 01:04 PM

Very good signing and a guy who's familiar with the organization. Good deal.

1972 07-06-2012 01:05 PM

Very good signing for the Rochester.

Reddawg 07-06-2012 01:06 PM

Amerks just keep on getting better, I like it!

New Sabres Captain 07-06-2012 01:07 PM

As I said earlier...he better be down in Rochester full time. I do not want to see his ass playing for the Sabres. No way, no how.

jfb392 07-06-2012 01:07 PM

Hopefully we never see him in a Sabres uniform again.

barcs 07-06-2012 01:07 PM

Does he still hold the record for hardest slap shot in AHL history?

HockeyH3aven 07-06-2012 01:09 PM

Hmmm Mancari and Porter will really help out the Amerks.

Digable5 07-06-2012 01:09 PM

This is obviously an AHL signing but I like that he has some experience in the system and should help the Sabres should we suffer so many injuries again on top of all the other positives he brings to Rochester.

Seems like it, according to Google. 102.8 MPH.

gallagt01 07-06-2012 01:12 PM

Vanek-Hodgson-Mancari ;)

Good signing for the Amerks. Hope there are more to come.

1point21Gigawatts 07-06-2012 01:13 PM

ummmm....i am not sure how i feel about this. I will see him play plenty in Rochester, but i not a big fan of his. I recall him having kind of a big head. If he can keep that in check and play like a consummate professional, then it's not a bad signing.

Timbo Slice 07-06-2012 01:18 PM

Seriously?

Awesome. Great signing for the Amerks. They need more pure offensive players like him.

Well, he's averaged just under a point per game over the last four AHL seasons and he was humble enough to return to the organization that he once "held out" on. Amerks-wise, it's hard to see a negative in this.

Montag DP 07-06-2012 01:22 PM

I knew Darcy had something big up his sleeve. Now we can all relax until September.

BuiltTagonTough 07-06-2012 01:23 PM

Hilarious. Welcome back Mark.

Should help out Rochester, and only Rochester, quite a bit.

Chainshot 07-06-2012 01:24 PM

Quality guy to provide goal scoring for the Amerks. He's got that big shot and can man the point on the PP as the shooter. Solid pickup.

HogtownSabresfan 07-06-2012 01:25 PM

Will I have to listen again to people tell me this guy is going to be an NHLer? I really hope we are past that

Rivet52 07-06-2012 01:26 PM

Glad to have him back for Rochester. Just hope he's not up here again.

sabresfan129103 07-06-2012 01:26 PM

Helps the Amerks a lot. Glad they signed him. I'm surprised he hasn't been snatched up yet.

AlexanderMogilny89 07-06-2012 01:33 PM

I thought Mancari was a big boy. Or it just could've been his head. I really thought he went hard every game and took on anybody who got in his way. Love the signing for the Amerks. Wouldn't mind seeing him in blue and gold on the 4th line if injuries were to happen.

At least he is not afraid to throw the hands. Looked like he bloodied up Darcy Tucker.

6"3 225 not bad size

SackTastic 07-06-2012 01:44 PM

Career AHLer. Good signing for Rochester. Please don't let people start wishing for him with the big club.

He does truly have a big head....oh you meant his ego, yeah that's big too.
