Howse is probably a long shot, but if he ever finds his toolbox...
Picking Wotherspoon
Went with Wotherspoon
Ortio and Bouma HM. |
Went with Aliu, yet again.
Went with Wotherspoon.
I went with Howse, even though he came in out of shape last year he started to show up at the end of the year. Still lots of potential in him.
Coda Gordon.
I can't vote on my phone but I'd go with Howse here. I'd bet he shows up like a different player this year on a mission, otherwise he'll be an after thought of the Flames and he knows that.
Crazy how much Wahl has fallen off the radar. |

I haven't seen him play, but I figure we must have drafted Wotherspoon in the 2nd round for a reason, so he'll be my pick.

Wanted to go Bouma...again.
Went Wotherspoon! |
If I could vote, but since I'm too new, I would go with wotherspoon. Watched a couple Winterhawks, Oil kings games from the whl finals and he appeared to be solid.
Wotherspoon. Had Alui not scored in his only 2 GAMES he wouldn't even be considered at all, I still don't even consider him a decent prospect for the fact he has only 2 games with us under his belt and the rest of his time has been AHl and unspectacular, no way he should beat out a second round pick.
Howse. A good year from him will be big.
How is Wortherspoon ahead of guys like Bouma? Are people voting based on ceiling?

For me I don't consider Bouma a prospect anymore. |
For me im trying to weigh Ceiling and NHL Readiness evenly.
i base mine on ceiling

Apparently I'm the tie breaker on this one. Wotherspoon. Top four potential someday, nothing but praise so far at the development camp and from his coach in Portland. The fact that he's fallen this far is a joke.
I like Aliu as much as the next guy, but come on, we got him for scraps for a reason. Two months of hockey in the A and a few games in the NHL doesn't elevate him into our top twenty prospects. If those few games mattered Brett Sutter was going to be the next Eric Lindros for us. The fact that he's getting votes over Bouma? Laughable. |
