Free Agency & General Offseason Discussion Thread: Part III - The Brenden Morrow Saga
Continue "discussion" here?

Does no decent free agent want to play for Ottawa?

Come on guys, this is getting ridiculous. |
Is everybody going crazy? I'm serious.
Do you guys seriously expect Morrow to produce so much more than Greening that you'd give up a huge amount to get him? ... |

thats just reDQless. |

I could be wrong, but whatever. I'm far happier giving up Zibanejad for Morrow than Zibanejad + a goalie + more for someone like Nash. |

I'd be more down with something like
Morrow for Conditional '13 1st round pick. Condition being that if it's a top 5 pick, they get '14 instead regardless of what pick it is. 2nd rd pick. |
Plenty of "B" prospects and later picks to give up for a guy like Morrow. He'd be a great addition, don't get me wrong, but not exactly what we need.

I would rather Joe Morrow.

I'd definitely take Morrow on the team.. if the price is right. He's a big bodied physical presence that can make room for Spezza on the first line and could probably pot 25+ on Spezza's wing.
|
Morrow is the new Horcoff.
|
COme on now, if the Sens trade Zibby it's gotta be as part of a package for a star player or someone closer to 20 then 30 with potential.
|
I think people wanting to trade Zibanejad for Brenden Morrow are just as crazy as people who think Nick Foligno is better than Brenden Morrow.
|
Trade zibby for Morrow?
Lets just fold as a fanbase. |
We could really use a fireballer like Morrow. The starting rotation is a little weak.
