Jesus, what a (deserving) drop for Avtsin. I think he was really high in the last couple years but has been tremendously disappointing in Hamilton. Looking like he'll slip out of the top 20 even.

Nash

add Delmas

It all depends on what he does this season. He had a good 19 year old season but did nothing this season. If he breaks out this season, he will deservingly jump back up the rankings.

Whitesnake 07-12-2012 05:49 PM

Nash who had a sniff of the NHL deserves to be top 20. Vail does look like a surefire NHL'er, just need to know his role. But I'd take Nash right now.

He looked alright too. Man, a lot of our prospects have had a rough time with injuries :(.

I've been saying for years, that he was over rated. He didn't score a goal in how many years?

You can't be a prolific goal scorer and not score in 3 year.

AJMHABS 07-13-2012 02:57 AM

Vail, add Berger

ScopeHockey 07-13-2012 07:58 AM

Wow, we have a pretty deep prospect pool now but still fairly thin in terms of likely top 6 forwards. We must lead the league in terms of forward prospects who project as bottom 6 players.

Starting to reaffirm my belief that the AHL is the worse development path for Russians, compared to the KHL. Of course the risk is that you let them stay in the KHL to develop and they wind up never coming over in the end...
