I added Bobkov and Heed even though their turn probably won't be anytime soon. Anyone important missing?

2. Sami Vatanen 41.38% (original poll) 50.63% (tiebreaker)
3. Emerson Etem 62.90%

5. Hampus Lindholm 55.56%
6. Devante Smith-Pelly 40.00%

Andersen again but Gibson will probably take this one.

Giguere27 07-15-2012 01:07 PM

Rakell again

GreatBear 07-15-2012 01:26 PM

Rakell. You just never know with a goalie.

Hussar 07-15-2012 02:13 PM

It rains where I live and I'm extremely bored.

quentez 07-15-2012 03:50 PM

Rakell, without a doubt here.

Exit Dose 07-15-2012 09:41 PM

Andersen.

Bodacious Wits 07-15-2012 09:51 PM

Andersen, again. But that's the last time I'm voting for a goalie. Too boring.

RJQuack 07-16-2012 12:52 AM

Rakell... Gibson after.

DuckJet 07-16-2012 10:36 AM

Gibson, Andersen, and Rakell for me.

Yes you never know with goalies but Gibson and Andersen deserve credit for what they've done at such a young age. Rakell to me will be an efficient two way third liner who will chip in offensively every now and then at the next level. To me his talent level isn't elite. I can see kerdiles, wagner, or Karlsson being better.

With Rakell(Jesus) being God's son elect, those are blasphemous words you spout out. Being a shut down forward with offensive skills has little appreciation. Oh my how far have we fallen and forgotten God (Pahlsson, just in case you didn't know who I was referring to.) :sarcasm:

A shut-down forward is plenty valuable. If we had a sure-fire one that would be worth putting high on the list. The Ducks have never drafted and developed one. Plenty of guys looked promising at one time (Deschamps, Macenauer, Carter, MacMillan, Wirtanen, Brent).

As risky as a goaltender is, I'm not sure shut fown foward is any safer.

KEEROLE Vatanen 07-16-2012 11:51 AM

Rakell, underrated offensive player, lots of intangibles, highly competitive

Vipers31 07-16-2012 12:01 PM

I agree. The good thing is that Rakell isn't really limited to being a shut-down forward. I think that's still the criticism on him from his draft days, but ever since, he has shown too much offensive skill to not at the very least be called a two-way forward. He's definitely too talented to be pushed into that mold just yet. Many guys that later became great shut-down guys started off showing decent amounts of skill earlier on in their careers, so it's not impossible that he follows that curve, but he might as well be a guy that's productive on both sides of the rink.
