Assuming he just accepted the qualifying offer.

Johnny Bravo 07-16-2012 10:51 AM

Hurray......

Kershaw 07-16-2012 10:52 AM

Wasn't this the guy who went ape **** on Avery? lol

Dutch Dreams 07-16-2012 11:04 AM

I like Peckham.

Can see him rebounding.

Static 07-16-2012 11:08 AM

Pronger lite signs a bargain contract!

seafoam 07-16-2012 11:14 AM

Want him on the Isles, a pairing of Peckham-Carkner would be SCARY

Puritania 07-16-2012 11:21 AM

Teddy Peckman is a good cat, I hope he rebounds and has a punishing year when injuries inevitably hit.

Scary as in you're just about to get scored on.

Im just messing. I think it's a pretty good signing for E-town. They are going to need to have guys out there who will look out for their skinny stars and Peckham is always game and imo, fun to watch.

Izzy 07-16-2012 12:00 PM

Good, Edmonton needed to keep some toughness

Carlos Ranger 07-16-2012 12:00 PM

Teddy Peckman!!!

So i guess Omark is going to sign in khl, he had up until yesterday to accept the qualifier i belive...

zeus3007* 07-16-2012 12:50 PM

He had a rough season last year with some injuries, but he played really well the year before, and was one of our more consistent d-men. I think he can bounce back. Good deal for the Oilers.

belair 07-16-2012 12:52 PM

He was one of my favourites a couple years ago. I wonder what happened last year.

Horton must've rung his bell pretty good.

lakai17 07-16-2012 01:17 PM

I hope he drops the gloves more this season.

Man Bear Pig 07-16-2012 01:20 PM

Wasn't Theo, a few years ago seen as a beast? what's happened since? so many fans and media were drooling over the guy and you barely heard his name at all "Teddy Peckmin" as a certain idiot on CBC once called him.

Roof Daddy 07-16-2012 01:34 PM

I'd like it if they tried to develop him as a tweener F/D to get him some more ice-time.

2010-2011 was a great season for him, 2011-2012 was rough. He had a lot of injuries and never got in the groove.

the only beast Edmonton had last season was Jordan Eberle. (i.e. Nail Yakupov)

ItsAllPartOfThePlan 07-16-2012 01:42 PM

And with this move, the dynasty commences. :sarcasm:

SauceHockey 07-16-2012 02:04 PM

At least they added some more protection

Sean Aviary 07-16-2012 02:51 PM

The Oilers should trade for a bag of pucks so he has a smarter defensive partner.

Gardiner 07-16-2012 03:30 PM

Grapes loves Teddy!
