Maybe once or twice, but I don't think I ever used the "RockLobster" name, because it wasn't until I got to college and used it as my DJ Name for the local radio that I started using it as an online handle as well.

OK I knew a user on there called Rock Lobster that stopped posting about a year ago.

Some girl asked me out, and I said no because I'm moving home in 3 weeks.

She asked if that was my only reason for saying no, and I said yeah pretty much.
Turns out she lives in St. John's too so looks like I've got myself a date.

What a coincidence!

Are you sure she's not a stalker bent on ultimately subduing you with an instrument of violence in preparation for a cannibalistic feast?

Rafted the Colorado today between Radium and State Bridge. Water's still low as all get out, but the rains have made it a lot more fun than it was 3 weeks ago.

It's actually not that much of a coincidence, it turns out about 75% of all students from Labrador move to St. John's after graduating high school.
Something I was completely unaware of.

That sounds horrifyingly specific.

Getting hungry, Jimmy?

Oh man, the days when The Simpsons were good. I'll admit I haven't watched the show in years now but I doubt it has gotten too much better than where I left it. Groening shouldn't have ceded to Fox when desiring departure from the show, though I guess he gets paid handsomely enough in return.

Trust me the new ones are just awful. A mockery to the older episodes

The Shermanator 07-23-2012 06:30 AM

So how about that finale of The Bachelorette last night? <3

Surely in this instance you had a cast iron reason to nail and bail? Although with hindsight if you did that she may well have found you when you went home. So really, bullet dodged.

Khalif Mitchell arm-barred Simeon Rottier in a scrum, video's on TSN.ca.

I think it definitely looks pretty dirty, but Rottier will likely only miss a game or two, so it's not the end of the world. Eskies still won so I guess that's the moral victory for Rottier.

Khalif Mitchell is a bit of a hothead so it doesn't surprise me that he did that but it does sound funny though.

beauty! By the way I once posted something about the newfies on here and you mentioned some guy from Bell Island. That's me lol, I moved to St. John's in the December so I updated my location. Also put "Steve" in front of my name which threw some people off.
