Lol, he's not even the dirtiest in the division.

Two-way?

VegasSabreFan 07-31-2012 02:34 PM

Kaleta gets a lot more hate then he deserves. He took a lot of penalties on clean hits based on reputation last year.

Still skill wise he has regressed a lot. A few years ago he was top 5 in league for penalties drawn/ toi and the offense isn't where it used to be. He's overpaid if he gets more than a $1.25 mil cap hit.

That guy deserves every beating he gets.

UConn126 07-31-2012 02:38 PM

Buffalo is making sure they'll have plenty of punching bags on hand for the Bruins.

WJG 07-31-2012 02:39 PM

I'm interested to see the numbers.

With Prust making 2.5 million per year, I could see Kaleta asking for the same.

Layne Staley 07-31-2012 02:41 PM

3/3.3

He is by far the dirtiest in east, Maybe Torres tops him, Maybe.

Torres isn't in the East... He's not even close to being the dirtiest, a year or two ago? Sure, you could argue that, but he's really cleaned up his game.

Nah. Kaleta beats Campbell/Marchand easily.

Now, when Lucic/McQuiad/Boychuk want to fight someone 20 pounds lighter they're either going to run into McCormick/Foligno/Regehr or have to deal with Scott down the line.

I know torres isnt in the east, I said he was dirtiest in the league, was told not even in the division so I said intended to clarify that maybe torres is the worst in the league but not by much, apologies for the confusion. If by cleaned up his game mean spearing groins and forearms to the face he is clean as a whistle.:help:

Not even close. Still not even the dirtiest player in the division. He's an agitator not a goon.
It's good to know that he's doing his job of annoying other teams and their fanbases well though. Thanks for the feedback. ;)

Moderator on the Sabres' board saying first-year salary is $1.25M.

Worst thing about Kaleta is that he targets Charas knees and then when Chara grabs him he wont do anything, He cries about how Chara is too big but then wont fight anyone else either.

Lol I can take a pest doing their normal antics-Diving,whining,little slashes. Kaleta is the worst of the bunch though.

BonMorrison 07-31-2012 02:54 PM

I greatly enjoyed when Kulemin steam-rolled him after he took a run at Grabovski.

Probably the only memorable thing Kulemin did last year.

You've gotta be kidding me. Do I have to go post him turtling vs McCormick after running his mouth all game back in the AHL? Marchand has three NHL fights in his career. Against Cogliano, Subban and Niskanen. He was suspended more games than Kaleta last season and has been suspended more times in the last two years as well.

Kaleta's scrap against Lucic was more "standing up" than Marchand will probably ever do in his career.

Now watch people start moving the goal posts and saying "he's a top six forward, he doesn't have to..."

You forgot about Ott too.

Just need to find a 3rd for the ultimate troll line in the NHL......

Maybe Jarkko Ruutu?

DeflatedFootball7 07-31-2012 03:03 PM

Kaleta is dirty but as a Flyers fan, Rinaldo is way worse.
