Penguins #11 prospect
Strait rounds out the top 10. Hmm... 8 defensemen, 2 forwards, 0 goalies... sounds about right. Added goaltender Jeff "Matt" Zatkoff.

#2 Simon Després (43.98% in #1 poll, 48.00% in runoff)

#4 Beau Bennett (35.50%)
#5 Derrick Pouliot (43.21%)
#6 Scott Harrington (58.33%)

Interestingly enough... #8, #9, and #10 all could be off the list next year. To me, this is their breakout years and I don't know if they will get all the opportunity in the world to shine. So in limited time - shine like hell.

Went Kuhn here.

Le Magnifique 66 08-06-2012 09:58 AM

Kuhn will take this, but I really like Blueger's upside

khaoskennedy 08-06-2012 10:15 AM

isn't it Jeff Zatkoff?

Epic Neal Time 08-06-2012 10:22 AM

Kuhn, Hanowski, D' Agostino, Blueger, Macaroni, Uher.

Yeah my bad. Don't know how I came up with Matt.

Blitzburgh87* 08-06-2012 10:38 AM

Kuhn, blueger, macaroni i think we can come to a decision after a few months into the season.

Hans Rutherford 08-06-2012 11:04 AM

I have no clue who to go for right now. I think D'Agostino is our most underrated prospect, especially now with the crazy amount of depth we have on defense.

With forwards, I think it's about a three way tie who should go next between; Hanowski, Kuhn, and Agostino.

Also, add Sundqvist.

Sidney the Kidney 08-06-2012 01:03 PM

Voted Kuhnhackl.

Add Matt Murray (G).

Add Murray

Rowdy Roddy Peeper 08-06-2012 01:27 PM

Going Blueger. He's the highest drafted player on the list outside of Veilleux (whose injuries have crippled his value), and he's got the best pure skill on the list.

Based on those two things alone, I gave him the nod.

rmartin65 08-06-2012 01:40 PM

Hanowski. It's pretty close between him, Kuhn and Blueger though.

Add Sundqvist.

MrBurgundy 08-06-2012 02:19 PM

It was a pretty tough decision between Hanowski and Kuhnhackl, but I went with Hanowski since he's steadily improved every season, and he's supposedly working on his skating this summer...

Ben Hanowski ‏@Ski_Ski74
Another good day with the #legassassin Diane Ness legs are feeling, but feeling results #GettingThere

IMO Kuhnhackl has to show me something this season to get back to being close to a top 10 prospect for us.

deakka 08-06-2012 02:55 PM

Went with zatkoff. I think hes ready for a backup position in the NHL tbh.

Tafkak 08-06-2012 03:41 PM

Went with Marcan since Murray isn't on the list. Murray has some tremendous upside that catapults him way up there.

#66 08-06-2012 03:41 PM

Going with Blue because of upside. I'm still sticking to a Krejci comparison with him.

I was actually thinking about him at 8 but Tangradi, Strait and Bort are just to ripe.

JTG 08-06-2012 06:12 PM

It was between Kuhn and Hanowski for me.

Tasty Biscuits 08-06-2012 07:28 PM

Add Murray.

KareemTrustfund 08-06-2012 07:31 PM

It was really close between Kuhnhackl and Blueger for me.

Voted Blueger.

EDIT: Add Ruopp.

Here as well. Went with Kuhn.

netwolf 08-06-2012 08:55 PM

Marcantuoni was looked at as a 1st rounder before injuries derailed him last season, so to me, he has the highest upside of anyone left. As someone mentioned about Kuhnhackl, Marcantuoni's game is such that, even if he doesn't hit his ceiling, should still be able to contribute at the NHL is a lesser role. I picked him.

AlanMSaunders 08-06-2012 10:46 PM

Voted for Zatkoff. Been there done that at the AHL level. More than anyone else on the list can say.

Add Murray

Randy Butternubs 08-06-2012 10:46 PM

I think I'll go with Uher next round.

Mr. T 08-06-2012 11:38 PM

Hanowski again. He's super-skilled, a leader and has improved his strength and skating since being drafted.

Oh, and the beard.
