I've seen pinchers about 2 inches long.

Those things buzzing over your head at night are even more intimidating....some of them are bigger than bats.

JimEIV 08-07-2012 06:37 AM

Dobsonfly incase anyone was wondering....

kyle evs48 08-07-2012 07:02 AM

I heated up two frozen breakfast burritos

They were too frozen so the ice melted into too much water

Now I have two soggy burritos

too early.

BrodeurRULES 08-07-2012 07:26 AM

Each day driving to work is a whole new adventure do to consturction. I don't think I have ever seen a day in my life that I haven't seen a part of NB underconstuction. lol It should be fun when they start a new highrise building on Somerset St.

So what have you guys been up to in the Tans? Did I miss anything major? Not that anyone cares but I decided to take a break from HF.

Well, not directly or on purpose, but essentially yes.

One night at work we had the bay door open and one must have flown in. It landed on the leak test table. I was talking to someone and he saw it land, stopped mid sentence, and said "What the **** is that thing!?!". I walked over and picked it up. He wouldn't come within 5 ft of it

Later that night I found it on the floor on the brink of death (it had flown out of my hand before I could get it outside). I kept it and just tonight looked it up. Odd, I've never run across one fishing, even at night. I think I might put it in a shadow box and make a display of it listing the common and scientific names under it. I did that with a praying mantis and it actually looks pretty good.

.

I believe there was a funeral/memorial at the church near the train station for two young boys that were found dead on the banks of the Raritan...the whole bottom half of Somerset street to George is closed for that I believe.

Those things show up above our tennis courts back at home when you turn the lights on.

So scary

MadDog172430 08-07-2012 07:47 AM

Thankfully it takes me 10 minutes to get to work, I love being able to take back roads and avoid the major ones.

That wasn't closed when I got into NB but that would have definatly added to the circle I had to make to get to the ER. When I got in Somerset St. was closed from the light by the Hospital to College Ave. was closed.

Edit: Its for the new pipes they are putting down under Somerset St.
