If the NHL locks out

What will Preds fans do for their hockey fix? Travel to an AHL or ECHL city? NHL'13 on the PS 3 or Xbox 360?

Luckily I have the Gladiators not far away and will be playing NHL'13 once it comes out.

cleangene 08-12-2012 07:54 PM

When do we start to REALLY worry about this happening?

If an agreement isn't made by September 15th....lockout city awaits.:shakehead

PredsFanFromla 08-12-2012 09:56 PM

I have a sphl hockey team down here so that will be my hockey fix,if the nhl lockout happens

PredsV82 08-12-2012 10:23 PM

These guys arent stupid, and the current CBA has been reasonably good for both sides.

I cant see this going past early November at the absolute latest....

I will become an NHL13 god.

worstfaceoffmanever 08-12-2012 11:23 PM

That's about all I can do, really. I have two teams within reasonable driving distance (Knoxville and Greenville), but I have precisely five nights off that match up with their respective schedules in October and November (not planning beyond that point yet, since I'm booked solid through January after that). That also doesn't take into account our women's basketball schedule, which I don't have access to at the moment.

Then my wife will be very happy that I'll be spending time with her instead.

Problem is that the team name is Espoo Blues not Espoo Siniset (blues=siniset in finnish)

What is the NHL/Preds policy on season ticket holders in case of a lockout?

:(

If there is a lockout, everybody should come watch some GNASH high school games this year! I'm a senior in the league, and we always love more fans :handclap:

Heck, come if there isn't a lockout!

Legionnaire11 08-13-2012 02:54 PM

I'm thinking during the last lockout the funds could either be kept in your account (with perks for doing so) or they could be refunded. If you kept it in your account it was treated as a pre-payment.

Teekko 08-13-2012 03:22 PM

If you guys like simulation hockey leagues you could join http://www.vhlsim.net/smf/index.php?wwwRedirect

It is entering its 29th season and has been around for 5 years!

It would be cool if there were more Preds fans on their board :D

gratefulpred 08-13-2012 03:30 PM

No NHL? Hulk Smash!

(Then go out and buy NHL 13 for the PS3 with the gas $$$ I save on the first two games missed)

Basher 08-13-2012 04:34 PM

Moving to Phoenix so no hockey is a real possibility either way, ha.

Lots of other things to do. My life wouldn't dramatically change without any of the major pro sports. I can take 'em or leave 'em.

College basketball might be harder to part with.

RaiderDoug 08-13-2012 04:49 PM

Football until January.

After that.....I've no idea. I've got horrible visions of my wife's 37 New Jersey TV shows (or vampire everything) on the tube every single night.

Nitrous Mafia 08-13-2012 11:22 PM
