And by the looks of things, 10 game plans are the new 5 game plans. :/ Got mine!

ThaDevilGirl 08-22-2012 11:51 AM

Price of tickets is too damn high.

Don't worry your money will be reimbursed totally because of the lockout :)

It's been 3 years I haven't purchased a ticket, way too expensive. I either get invited from a client, or watch at home. Way too high prices are ridiculous

Jigger77 08-22-2012 12:25 PM

If they think I'm going to even entertain the thought of giving them any money right now they are dreaming.

I usually see the Habs 3-5 times per year, depending on a trip to Ottawa and a playoff game. But now the price of tickets are increasing every year and it's starting to annoy me a little. Maybe with a lockout I'll be able to save up money for the following year lol

It's crazy but doing road trips end up being cheaper then watching a home game here and I mean hotel and all

Alexdaman 08-22-2012 01:34 PM

Bahh it's really expensive is you choose the Desjardins zone, but not sooo bad if you sit in the white zone and even affordable in the grey and btw there's not much difference between the grey and white zone. I'll never buy 10 or even 5 games in one season, so whenever I decide to go see a game I treat myself with a desjardins club ticket, all you can eat foods and not so long waiting line-ups.

Coldplay 08-22-2012 01:35 PM

Picked up two packs in the whites. It's stupidly easy to get tickets right now, wow. Makes me worry that scalpers have realized this too. ****ers.

Supply and Demand, a lot of people want to go to games. They'd be fools not to charge considering the demand. The Bell's been sold out for years.

That's basically what I do now... I used to go see 15+ games a year, but recent years I just go a couple of times and get the Desjardins section.

Desjardins are definitely awesome, never any line ups, coat check available and no one around you bust balls. I get them once a year from a client, love it

Trust me I get that, I'm sure it's even worse in Toronto. It is expensive though

You business students...

You can't rationalize money-oriented moves to people who have an emotional attachment to a team. More seriously though, I get the supply and demand argument, but for how long can they use it? It's sad that Habs fans have a similar relation with their team as drivers do with gas stations, fiends who accept paying ridiculous prices because it fills a need, whether emotional or functional.

Screw you Habs, I'm going home.

a ticket last time I checked in the desjardins section is 170$ a piece to 230$, it's either the second most expensive ticket in the arena or at par with the red section. All food is free and you are right under the top section and over the bottom section. I love it because you don't have to pay 5$ for a hot-dog and the only thing that isn't free is beer.

Crimson Skorpion 08-22-2012 03:32 PM

I'll likely treat my son to one game but other than that, maybe my boss will give me another pair of reds.

Adamcrazy3 08-22-2012 03:58 PM

can we buy individual tickets??!?

cap10bfl 08-22-2012 04:20 PM

just went on the habs site....

now it costs 100$ a ticket in the white section and 75$ a ticket in the grey!

it costs 100$ of service fees for each ticket

they boosted up the prices again, even after a 15th place finish in the east...

:shakehead

edit: what i mean by 100$ fees is the total for 10 games (so 10$ per ticket)

RC51 08-22-2012 04:47 PM

I would never buy tickets now.
If the lockout lasts till March and upon the return the Fans DON'T come back and the average attendance is 3000-4000 the tickets will go for $10 but you would have paid???????????? WHAT???????????
\

Le Tricolore 08-22-2012 04:49 PM

wow, tickets that cost much now? If there's a season, I'm sure I'll go to a game or two, but at that price, it won't be much more than that/

It'll sell out regardless of when the games are played...

CN_paladin 08-22-2012 04:54 PM

Geez $100 of service fees per ticket? This is absolutely brutal. RDS here comes my subscription!

Clumsyhab 08-22-2012 05:08 PM

Back when I was in cegep (10 years ago), students could buy tickets for Tuesday games for 25$ in the Whites and it comes with a beer :shakehead
