Fallback team for 2012-13?

If there's a lockout, which team will you follow most closely?

derriko 09-03-2012 04:05 PM

I know I'll follow the B sens - probably see almost every game. I saw about 10 last year even with the NHL so they are my go to.

Do all the European leagues get streamed online? I've only seem the SEL online, not any SM liga / KHL etc. Does firstrowsports have those?

Rumcajs 09-03-2012 04:17 PM

I have the Montreal Impact to follow for the first bit. After Werder Bremen/Champions league matches.

Plus the usual scanning through our players teams. If Michalek returns to the Czech Republic ill be sure to skip class and go see him play

Polakdave 09-03-2012 04:19 PM

Whitecaps MLS, Dortmund Bundesliga, and Victoria Royals for WHL... I'm probably gonna get 6-game weekend ticket pack for them anyways :p

Lewandowski sucks :sarcasm:

I'll mostly be following the B-Sens for hockey, but will watch more basketball than anything else.

OmniSens 09-03-2012 05:03 PM

B-Sens
67's
Remainder of the Jays season
Will attempt to watch any Alfie/Karlsson games

So my vote go to all of the above.

Jays will be done by the time the season should start.

Unless something crazy happens this September.

RedWhiteBlackGold 09-03-2012 05:12 PM

Will follow B-Sens and try to keep an eye out for whatever team/league Alfie/Karlsson are playing on.

Hopefully Main will provide us with streams again this season.

KarlssonMarx 09-03-2012 05:14 PM

Well I'll be following Bingo pretty closely regardless of whether or not there's a lockout. I would have probably gone to a bunch of 67s games if they were playing at the Civic Center. I'll definitely be following Alfie/Karlsson/Spezza wherever they play in Europe.

Sometimes. I remember watching a few of Silfverberg's playoff games on firstrowsports back in the spring. I think if there's a lockout and those leagues get filled with NHL players, a lot more games will be streamed in North America than usual.

DJB 09-03-2012 05:17 PM

Buffalo Bills, Bingo and the 67's.

swiftwin 09-03-2012 05:32 PM

Bayern Munich (soccer).

Sens are the only hockey team I cheer for, if they aren't playing, I won't watch hockey.

SevenOfSpades 09-03-2012 05:40 PM

I think OHL. I'm sure Sportsnet will broadcast CHL games more often if there's a lockout.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, 67s will be playing in SBP next year.

internetdotcom 09-03-2012 05:41 PM

I do watch the NFL religiously anyway, but I took this poll as 'which hockey teams will you follow if there is a lockout?', so my answer is the 67s, but I won't follow any hockey team too closely in the event of a lockout.

HankHillC3H8 09-03-2012 05:45 PM

I'll follow the NFL very closely and then start watching the NBA more after the season is over.

EastCoastSensFan 09-03-2012 06:06 PM

I will keep an eye on bingo and the mooseheads..... I guess the NFL as well just to see the pats lose.

Rhino Reilly 09-03-2012 06:18 PM

67s like I do when there's an NHL season anyways and the Raiders. Oakland not Nepean.

I know. I was thinking more when the lockout actually starts (September 15th)

saskriders 09-03-2012 07:04 PM

Mix of Bingo Hitmen and Europe

brochenski 09-03-2012 07:12 PM

The 67s will most likely lose a few key players to AHL, but where would I catch AHL games?

Quo 09-03-2012 07:16 PM

I'll likely be paying more attention to both the OHL and the Q should the worst happen. I was going to do that anyway though.

It's going to be a long season (figure of speech...it'll end before January) :(

dan1el 09-03-2012 07:46 PM

I'll be seeing a lot of 67's games for sure, keep an eye on Ceci and other Sens prospects that could be playing against them. Plus I wanna check out Monahan.

I'll also be keeping a close eye on Euro leagues, mostly the SEL but the rest as well.

And of course, Bingo will be on my radar.

SixthSens 09-03-2012 08:08 PM

Football and the B-Sens... quite possibly the Frontenacs too.
