Supernatural season 8

Not many weeks left until season 8 starts so i thought i make a new thread since i couldnt find one when i searched. The season will premiere on October 3.

Judging from the promo this seems to be the very last season of Supernatural, so what do you want to see before its over?

...so i start. The most important for me is less fillers and that they answer all the questions i have such as, who is god etc. I would love to see more alphas, i doubt that they got them ALL. I mean, there are tons of diffrent monsters out there.

Am i the only Supernatural fan here? :help:

I thought they made it pretty blatant that Chuck was god. Also, am I alone in hoping for a Slenderman--esque episode?

The season doesn't start until October 3rd, so I've got nothing else to say other than I'm expecting to see it.

The evidence pointed to that but there was nothing concrete, it just as well have been his car...

I want to see their father return before it's over. Everyone else can manage their way out of hell, why can't he? (Other than the actor not wanting to come back)

Maybe as a demon?

Right now the plan is to actually have the show go to at least the end of season 10. Both Jared and Jensen have signed on for seasons 9 and 10, assuming the CW Network continues to renew the show. And apparently the new producer of the show has stated he plans to take the show through season 10, as long as the network will continue to have them.

Oh comon.... the show has been on the decline since sam went with lucifer and micheal to hell. Too many fillers and unintresting storys.

Don't see how they can carry this on for another 2-3 seasons without the storyline being stale. The writers blew their load pretty early with the Lucifer storyline. Hard to match the epicness of that.

Yeah, the show was at it's best then. I think they should do a Joss Whedon and have a god as the big bad of the season like Glory in Season 5 of Buffy. I mean, there have already been gods in Supernatural and if i am not misstaken Paris Hilton was one too

Edit: I am the only one who wants James Masters (Spike in Buffy) to come back as a regular cast?

Everlasting 10-04-2012 02:13 AM

So no one here saw the episode?

Valhallis 10-04-2012 08:37 AM

I watched it. It's always good to see the boys back and so far it looks like they'll be focusing a bit more on demons this year. What I don't get is why was Dean giving Sam the gears for giving up hunting? Didn't Dean do the same thing 2 seasons ago? Maybe I'm remembering that wrong...

they always tell each other not to look for them / raise them from the dead...but nobody ever listens

Great episode but i did not like their greeting. Sam did not look happy at all and Dean was actiong wierd too.

Hopefully James Masters come back :D

the Benny character seems interesting and the whole closing the gates of hell forever is a solid enough story arc...I'm actually more interested about this season than the last one.

The leviathans kinda sucked as an enemy.

"Sasha Grey's gone legit..."

Bizarro Bandwagoner 10-05-2012 08:53 PM

I don't understand why Crowley couldn't just warp into their car as he watched them drive off, what am I missing there?

Everlasting 10-07-2012 05:39 PM

Mjölnir!

Everlasting 10-11-2012 12:45 PM

Fantastic episode, better than the first one. Hopefully we get to see more off thors hammer :D

Jussi 10-11-2012 08:05 PM

Good episode. Is it just me or does the show seem "better produced", meaning the music and directing, camera work etc. seemed much better than usually/before?
