If the Yankees lose tonight I will throw up.

Kershaw 09-12-2012 05:17 PM

Phils/Brewers only 4 games back.

Kershaw 09-12-2012 05:57 PM

Phillies only 3.5 games back with 4 in Houston, St Louis plays 4 against the Dodgers. Although the next 3 series opponents for STL are HOU, HOU and CHC. They will make the playoffs with ease.

DM23BK30 09-13-2012 07:27 AM

If the Phillies get in, who the hell would want to face Hamels, Halladay and Lee in a five-game series? Well, besides St. Louis LOL.

Don't count out Arizona and Milwaukee.

As much as I hate it, kudos to MLB for adding the 2nd wild card. You just knew September was going to be like this.

Went to the Mets game last night, sat in right field. No joke, I was able to have a conversation with the guy sitting in left field -- that's how empty and quiet it was.

I was at the game too. There is no possible way I can see how there could have been more than 15000 people there.

And with the Cyclones eliminated a few days ago, we're done for the year with meaningful baseball in the Mets organization. St. Lucie and Brooklyn went out with a fizzle, just like the big club.

Compared to how big Citi Field is, it looked like there were that few people there. But usually when I guess, I'm off by like 10,000.

Hell of a game between TB and the O's, rays just survived bases loaded 0 outs headed to the 14th now.

Buster Posey is licking his chops.

I think it was fine the way it was. However when they added a 2nd wild card team they should've at least made it a 3-game series between 2 wild card teams. 162 games in a season and to decide it by 1 game is a joke IMO.

darko 09-14-2012 06:33 AM

Also A's need to sweep or at least take 2/3 from Orioles. After A's, Orioles play garbage teams in their next 12 games before season ending series against Rays.

DM23BK30 09-14-2012 09:40 AM

Nova and Andy coming back is huge because at worst it bumps Garcia and at best it allows Phelps to help the bullpen

Ih8theislanders 09-19-2012 08:56 PM

My God Ichiro is a tank

Machinehead 09-19-2012 09:20 PM

The Yankees just did it gangnam style :naughty:

I love low scoring wins. We'll need to be able to do that in the playoffs.

Hollywood Hulk Hogan 09-19-2012 09:34 PM

I'm done with Swisher. He can make 100 million and choke somewhere else

30theking 09-19-2012 09:47 PM

jeter has 200 hits for the eighth time in his career tying gehrig for the most by a yankee player. he is really having a heck of a year.

Hollywood Hulk Hogan 09-20-2012 07:14 PM

****ing Swisher, runner on second, 1 out, he strikes out

Had to re-quote for relevancy to tonight's game.

Swedish Fish 09-20-2012 07:49 PM

Ichiro is absolutely on fire.

darko 09-20-2012 08:12 PM

Ichiro this series:

9-10, 4 runs, HR, 4 RBIs, 3 doubles, 4 stolen bases.

Hollywood Hulk Hogan 09-20-2012 09:19 PM

Mets lose 16-1 vs Philly. 4-25 last 29 home games. 16 straight home games scoring 3 runs or less
