Edm & nas

EDM needs some size in the top 6 and NSH can use a player with more offensive skill.

A deal around Gagner for Wilson I think would actually help both teams.

What would be a fair deal a straight swap or which team would have to add and what?

Hall; RNH; Eberle
Yak; Wilson; Hemsky

It will give EDM a 2C with size and that is what EDM needs.

Gagner is the last thing the preds need right now. We'll keep Wilson

How uses "nas" for Nashville..?

Regardless, NSH probably would want a 1st line center. I don't think Mike Fisher or Gagner can be 1st line centers.

Gagner would be our 3rd line center under polle.. no thanks

Lets take the homer glasses off, he has more skill than any of your centreman now some lets at least be serious.

He didn't say "Gagner would be our 3rd best center", he said "Gagner would be our third line center". Which he would. In Barry Trotz hockey, you dont get playing time for being skilled, you get it for playing a great two-way game...something Gagner doesn't. I can't think of many worse fits for our system. Trotz would NEVER play Gagner above Fisher or Legwand, fair or not.

We already have Fisher and Legwand for top 6 Cs. Trotz has said Wilson and Smith will BOTH get shots at C this year. Spaling and Gaustad are also natural centers. Gagner just doesn't fit. Value wise, sure, its fine, but fit wise, it isnt good for us.

Nothing against Wilson, but he's just a physically bigger player than Gagner. Doesn't exactly play a big game. Don't really see the need in making a lateral move.

Not homer glasses just have a better understanding how this team works then you do. if he was on our team and we played tomorrow he would be our 3rd line center. never said anything about skill or anything like that. but while we are on the subject he didnt out produce Legs or fisher last year, while both of them are much better 2 way centres then Gagner. 2 way game takes it every day over skill in Nashville. more so over when they out produce the skill guy.

Understand, this conversation is over.

How? You simply type "NAS" instead of "NSH". The better question is who? Who uses "nas"? Who?:sarcasm:

Forecaster.ca for one, the site that The Hockey News uses to power all their statistics and team charts. So, it's not like it's some crazy thing, really.
