Can there be an offseason if there is no season?

Krishna 09-15-2012 02:47 PM

Technically it would just be a long offseason

Krishna 09-15-2012 02:47 PM

Lucky Ducks. I'm a big Fowler fan.

Krishna 09-15-2012 04:08 PM

I think I am going to be a London Knights fan during the lockout.

Love their jerseys

RJ8812 09-15-2012 04:24 PM

junior hockey doesn't really interest me. I'll probably try and follow a few teams in Europe that some Flyers are playing for

dbr2 09-15-2012 05:39 PM

Gonna try to follow the Phantoms.

Vikke 09-15-2012 05:49 PM

Follow Vimmerby Hockey in the Swedish tier3 instead, ya'll.

So what if they gave us the finger, we told them to eat a dick first when we signed him to that offer sheet. Too late to get all sensitive now. I personally harbor no ill will towards the Preds, they (and the Flyers) were just doing what they had to do.

True... but still F the Preds!!

I've been to depressed about this to even post about it. No hockey this year would seriously put the topping on a terrible year... I really hope we don't miss the whole season.

Whatever, go phantoms I guess.

Does anyone know of any way to watch phantoms games online? Streams maybe? Probably not. **** me. At least GM connected is fun.

Evander kane looks like he was re-signed in Winnipeg. But, i believe it's too late to submit the contract to be approved.. There was apparently a deadline that was 5 pm on either the 14th or 15th and his hasn't been completed yet

Krishna 09-15-2012 09:29 PM

Brennan Klak ‏@nhlupdate
@Pwnz0rs that's what I thought, but it looks more like the deadline is the same as the CBA's

maybe it isn't 5 pm

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 20s
6 years, $31.5 for Evander Kane in Winnipeg.

Oh boy, it's going to be a long year without hockey and alcohol.

Prongo 09-16-2012 01:43 AM

Malkin and Gonchar have already signed in the KHL. Letang could be follow them.

The mass exodus has begun.

Krishna 09-16-2012 01:53 AM

Are Jon Mirasty, Jeremy Yablonski, and Kip Brennan still signed with Vityaz?

Dito.
I think we could've moved up to the 10th overall or so in his draft year rather easily. Man would he look good in orange.

Haha, what's the occasion? I'm curious b/c Czech republic has adopted alcohol prohibition a few days ago (I already bought an Eliot Ness hat...)

Back to topic: Considering how "productive" the negotiations have been lately, I don't even want to think about how long this lockout perioud can be...

Only Yablonski remains with the team. Mirasty will play for Barys Astana this year, Brennan (CHL) and Tarnasky (AHL) are back in North America, but Vityaz have reinforced their team with Trevor Gillies...

You'll still be able to drink your Pilsner Urquell though, right? Wasn't it "only" hard liquor with more than 20% alcohol that was being banned? Of course, if we are to learn from history, I don't know if banning all hard liquor is the right thing to do if you want to get rid of the ******** who put methanol in it.
