Top 25 Favorite Canucks Of All-Time - #1

Having recently done the top 25 _best_ Canucks, I'm bored and there's no hockey so let's do the top 25 favorites.

Vote to add another.

Linden AINEC.

VinnyC 09-23-2012 10:56 PM

I'm disturbed by the lack of Sami Salo (add!).

Pity vote for Burr, we all know who's taking this one.

Mason10 09-23-2012 11:00 PM

Linden.

Luck 6 09-23-2012 11:00 PM

Bure

Tim Calhoun 09-23-2012 11:07 PM

Add Messier.

Vankiller Whale 09-23-2012 11:21 PM

Bure. Add Bieksa.

PavelBure10 09-24-2012 12:45 AM

Snepsts should also be added.

PierreMcGuire* 09-24-2012 01:09 AM

Bure AINEC.

Makes me sick, people prefer Linden over Bure.

Add Gino.

I think people are going to confuse "favourite' and "best". If it's about favourites, you gotta have Tiger (who I can't stand, but many love), Gino, Kurtenbach, Snepsts, Bieksa, even Schnieder for his impressions alone.

Thanks for telling us who our favourite players are...

Linden. I worshipped Bure as a kid, and even though I understand why he wanted out, it still broke my heart when he asked to be traded. Linden's combination of will, skill and love of Vancouver win him over for me.

To each their own. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you—nobody wants you to get sick.

1. Linden

2. Burrows

3. McLean/Bure

El Duderino 09-24-2012 02:34 AM

Gotta go with Linden here.

Obviously. Just having some fun.

I was unaware that fun was permitted during a lockout. Carry on.

Hammer79 09-24-2012 05:12 AM

Bure

archangel archangel 09-24-2012 05:20 AM

didn't we just have this thread a few months ago?

Bougieman 09-24-2012 07:05 AM

Please add Kyle Wellwood!

vadim sharifijanov 09-24-2012 03:49 PM

voted hank before i noticed that it asks for favourite, not greatest or best. at present, henrik has two votes (vs. linden at 29 and bure at 24). one of those should in all fairness be pavel.

vadim sharifijanov 09-24-2012 03:51 PM

also, geoff courtnall was clutch and all, but was he ever close to anyone's favourite canuck? you would think harry snepsts or gradin or even lumme should be higher than him. personally, diduck and momesso are significantly closer to my favourite from the '94 team than geoffy.

but the most glaring omission: add gino.

Speaking for myself, I was too young to really remember or appreciate the likes of Steamer or Gradin. I grew up on the Canucks team featuring Linden, Bure, Babych, McLean, Courtnall, Adams, Ronning, Odjick, Mommesso, etc...

Courtnall would be one of my all-time favorites. Partially because I met him as a kid and he was an extremely nice guy. But he was also a good player who scored some big goals.
