Mint Berry Crunch 09-28-2012 06:51 PM

...in a collision with Ilkka Heikkinen, of all people.

WHY HEINEKEN, WHY?!

vladmyir111 09-28-2012 06:52 PM

Of course it's a shoulder. He'll pretty much be useless until playoffs or next year regardless of when he comes back.

Leaf Rocket 09-28-2012 06:54 PM

yikes. wasn't his shoulder also what was injured or was it his back?

Well, let's not jump to conclusions. It's stated that Nash took himself out as a precaution. Maybe he's just playing it ultra-safe? Here's hoping for the best.

vladmyir111 09-28-2012 07:06 PM

Oh I know it could just be playing it safe, I was just stating that if it is an actual shoulder injury of any kind past the mildest of mild he's pretty much **** for this season. We've seen enough of them in the past 10 years here to know that.

Damn I'm good. From about 10 days ago, this happened sooner then I expected.

What they season start now and Nash be injured for 3 mons, just knowing our luck.

Well time to go play the lotto.

slocal 09-28-2012 07:20 PM

Yikes, I really hope it's nothing but a stinger. Fingers are crossed for the guy.

HatTrick Swayze 09-28-2012 07:33 PM

Rangers are really getting screwed worse than usual with this lockout.

Hopefully it's minor. But if my Rangers fandom over the last 20 years has inspired anything it ain't optimism.

KingWantsCup 09-28-2012 07:40 PM

Unbelievable.

Kreider Typical 09-28-2012 07:45 PM

the initial report said he was hit by heikkinen and left the game groggy i was like "the *******?" i thought it was a mistranslation and they were saying he left the game because he was hitting the heineken before the game or something.

Kershaw 09-28-2012 07:45 PM

Maybe Nash should've waited til he went overseas.

Brooklyn Ranger 09-28-2012 08:50 PM

Live can be dangerous even if you don't play hockey. I'll wait until he's actually flying back to the US to consult with doctors before letting my nose get bent out of shape.

Swedish Fish 09-28-2012 08:57 PM

Wellllll crap.

BlueShirts88 09-28-2012 09:00 PM

He is going to be fine. It was precautionary that he was taken out.

And by the time things even get going again in the NHL, he will be 100%.

Silence Of The Plams 09-28-2012 09:47 PM

This would happen.

Typical.

****ing pisses me off.

Jabroni 09-28-2012 11:36 PM

Hopefully "precautionary" turns into "bruise/bump".

broadwayblue 09-28-2012 11:48 PM

Some of you are hilarious. We don't even know the extent of the "injury" and you're already crying like babies.
