Jackets Go Gangnam Style

There are, quite simply, no words adequate enough to describe the horror I experienced upon watching this.

Oh yeah and LEO!!

Seedtype 10-09-2012 07:14 PM

Heeyyy, sexy scoreboard!

Sore Loser 10-09-2012 07:34 PM

I was really hoping this wouldn't be mentioned on these boards. It popped up on my Facebook and I ignored it :shakehead

CBJBrassard16 10-09-2012 07:43 PM

That was awful.

leesmith 10-09-2012 07:45 PM

Dude if I had to suffer we all had to suffer. :sarcasm:

Actually we should send this in to TPTB who are keeping this lockout going. Once they see that this is the result of their bullheadness they will relent tout suite.

Byrral 10-09-2012 08:12 PM

I have been hearing about this recent style/fad. I 've now seen all I need to see forever.

Fro 10-09-2012 08:56 PM

i found it hilarious

CBJ Tiffin 10-09-2012 09:38 PM

Looks like a bunch of CBJ faithful having a good time, making the best of the lockout. I'm sure they'd rather be watching hockey just like the rest of us. Nice job promo teams.

FANonymous 10-09-2012 09:52 PM

I wonder what it says about me that my favorite part was when Dancing Kevin made his little cameo and took off his shirt, not anything to do with any of the ladies. I'm not going to ponder that too much.

Looks like they had fun. It's definitely not my style of music, dance, or fashion, but I know I'm no trendsetter.

I'm all for passing the lockout in a creative way. It's just... Stinger. Pelvic thrusting. Just no.

I do have to agree that it looks like they had a blast making it. My horror at seeing parts of it notwithstanding  I'm glad they had fun.

SuperGenius 10-09-2012 10:08 PM

looks like they made the best of a crappy situation and had some fun. I think it's kind of funny.

Boomer would've been epic, though. And I think that was Boll's Escalade :)

OK if that had been Boomer instead if Stinger I would've bought season tix, lockout or no lockout. For real. That would've been f'ing hysterical.

...seconded, in spite of my comments above. I would buy ST's, and I live 2,500 miles away!

wahsnairb 10-09-2012 11:40 PM

I thought it was really well done, but I am biased having friends participating in the shenanigans.

I think we all can agree the lockout must end a s a p, though.

Anarchy 10-10-2012 01:15 AM

lmao how could i be surprised by dancing kevin?

IBleedUnionBlue 10-10-2012 08:45 AM

I think this is ridiculous. I follow the Jackets for hockey, not for a bunch of kids dancing, and whatever that "music" was. This just has a cheesy minor league feel to it, and not something I see on other NHL team hockey feeds I follow.

You're just pissed you didn't think of it first. Either that, or you're just crabby.

Great name for a band.

Why not have some fun? I liked it.

Or perhaps, 46 year old male hockey fans are not the demographic that they are trying to reach with music videos including crappy music with 20 year old kids dancing. And here I thought music videos died in the 90's along with MTV.

CBJSprague24 10-10-2012 11:20 AM

I wondered what the screenshot of Stinger with Dan Hinote in a hot tub was. I now know. It's still hilarious.

This. For those that didn't catch it, several of (I recognized two, but I'm guessing all of) the girls involved are CBJ Pepsi girls. Add to that Leo, Dancing Kevin, and I think the guy in the tie may be the DJ.

In other words, CBJ employees finding a fun way to kill time while they, like the rest of us, have nothing else to do.

Just one 46-year-old male hockey fan giving another 46-year-old male hockey fan some grief is all, Bleed.

Lmao, that was awesome, and more enjoyable than most Blue Jacket games last year. Only Boomer could've made it better.
