Marc the Habs Fan 10-09-2012 11:22 PM

Felt it in Longueuil. Holy crap that was odd.

JAVO16 10-09-2012 11:22 PM

Strongest I've ever felt in Montreal at least.

TomPlex 10-09-2012 11:22 PM

Holy **** yes. That was insane. Old montreal. Felt like my building was coming down.

Taupy 10-09-2012 11:22 PM

Marc the Habs Fan 10-09-2012 11:23 PM

Twitter is exploding.

Spectaculard 10-09-2012 11:23 PM

Felt it very clearly. I thought something crashed into the building.

LyricalLyricist 10-09-2012 11:23 PM

Yah woke some ppl up.

PyrettaBlaze 10-09-2012 11:23 PM

HOLY **** that was scary wow

vokiel 10-09-2012 11:23 PM

That felt like an explosion more than a quake, and I can't find any quake reports on line.

Delat 10-09-2012 11:24 PM

I felt it also pretty strong on the north shore.

It takes time to come up with a measurement of it. Just type earthquake in twitter, thousands of people have already tweeted about it.

McSorleyStick 10-09-2012 11:25 PM

I felt that **** !

Pheeeeeew I thought my appartment was haunted, as my closet opened like 2 seconds after the shaking

snakeye 10-09-2012 11:25 PM

Woke me up. Ran half asleep to see if there was a truck or a plane outside, but there was none.

Rosso Scuderia 10-09-2012 11:25 PM

Damn.. that was a strong one!

Padrino86 10-09-2012 11:27 PM

yeah felt it, maybe the strongest in the last 5 or 10 years I've felt in mtl. Nothing like an earthquake, no matter how lame it is, to wake up hfboards, lol.

Dwight 10-09-2012 11:27 PM

Felt it in the West Island. pretty strong for a Montreal quake.

And Twitter's blowing up

Nicko999 10-09-2012 11:27 PM

Felt it...

BeBen* 10-09-2012 11:28 PM

Marc the Habs Fan 10-09-2012 11:28 PM

Earthquakes Canada ‏@CANADAquakes
Automatic detection of seismic event: magnitude 4.5 - 10 Oct 0:19 EDT - LONGUEUIL, QC region

Wow, imagine what a 6 or 7 would be.

Dugray 10-09-2012 11:28 PM

Pretty loud since it woke me up. Wonder what the size was

MRocketR 10-09-2012 11:29 PM

Ahuntsic - I felt it.

Two large bangs and some of my stuff shook. I thought it was the train tracks behind my apartment.

vokiel 10-09-2012 11:29 PM

Explosion located: My neighbours' appartment. Something heavy must have fell on the floor, eh.
