Your All-Time Favourite Duck #9

#1 Teemu Selanne (87.93%)
#2 Jean-Sebastien Giguere (50.00%)
#3 Paul Kariya (29.55%)
#4 Scott Niedermayer (35.14%)
#5 Steve Rucchin (27.27%)
#6 Ryan Getzlaf (33.33%)
#7 Corey Perry (42.86%)
#8 Andy McDonald (25.00%)

I added Matt Cullen, Oleg Tverdovsky, Travis Moen and Mikhail Shtalenkov.

Please keep telling me which player(s) to add to the next poll. Here is a good cheat sheet.

I've got to say I'm really surprised McDonald went before Pahlsson, Salei and Hebert. I have him at 12 on my personal list. Great player though, and it was really fun to watch him and Selanne to do their thing. Also cool to see him crack the top10.

Man it really sucks we traded him away, when healthy he could still do wonders on a line with Teemu.

In the minority but Bobby on this one. When he first broke out in the league, he was absolutely electric. Some of those toe drag snipes and nasty dangles give me the chills. No homo.

If we had never signed Bertuzzi, we probably could have kept him when Niedermayer and Selanne came back. I'd like to imagine we'd have beaten Detroit in the '09 playoffs if we had McDonald around, as we had a second line of Teemu+scraps (Carter, Ebbett, and Christensen spent time on that line IIRC). I think we would have had a good shot at beating Chicago in the WCF, and anything could happen in the SCF. Man, we might've been able to win the Cup that year if we just had more depth.

Went with Pronger. I really have no favorite Ducks outside of Teemu, Giguere, and Corey Perry, as I pretty much like everybody equally, but I went with Pronger because he was a giant part of the Cup team. Pronger also got us Sbisa, Etem, and Palmieri, and I'm a pretty big fan of those guys.
